This was my first wifi DVR player. Setting up was really easy, so is operation of it. Very basic for a first time user

Bought it to play old DVDs and Blu-ray since my older player had gone bad. Works great.

Pretty easy to use and hook up. It was a gift for my 11 year old daughter and it is just enough for her.

Highly enjoy LG products as they are known to last a long time. I purchased this player to enjoy various movies with my family. This is an excellent purchase which pairs well with my LG TV. Easy to hook up and use.

bought hoping we could get wifi to it to get Netflix in man cave but it will not get wifi outside of house but plays music and dvds good

Ive only used it a few times so far. Seems to be good. Does what it is ment to do. Like the fact that you can turn up or down the volume of the tv with the remote. Only downfall that I am dissapointed in is the fact you cant search the web with it. I thought being wifi I could get on the internet with it. Oh well. But over all its a good player.

Bought this item for my sister for the holidays. Has more interest in streaming options rather than cable, so this one stop shop is perfect for her needs. Excellent Blu-ray player along with the Wi-Fi options allows for a great hub to entertainment needs.

Bought this when our Samsung player (wireless, similar size and price) died. The Samsung wasn't perfect, this LG model has enough problems that I'd not recommend it to a friend. Our issues: Streaming playback video is good, but the audio glitches on a regular basis and enough to very annoying. Tried streaming over both Netflix and Amazon to rule out what seems to be a specialised application for each service. While playing DVDs it regularly announces that it's lost connection to the network and that the network settings need to be attended to. This is so unnecessary as watching a DVD has no need to worry about the network, yet the popup blocks the image as it continues to play. To make it even more annoying, there isn't a cancel option, which means one must navigate to the home screen and back to the playback environment to clear the announcement. Simply horrible software design. This unit is in the exact same place as our Samsung and wireless connectivity was never an issue, so it seems to have a subpar antennae. On the positive side, the unit seems more responsive to button presses on the remote, and there is an indicator light on the front pannel that cofirms both power and key press. Happy with this -- not really, but I guess for one of the cheaper players I've gotten what I paid for.

Good basic Blue-Ray player. Works well, and found it to be very easy to negotiate.

It does the job. But I don't like the idea to use the remote controller to input letters while using the streaming.

NEEDS TO ALWAYS HAVE WIFI CONNECTION OR IT WILL PULL YOU OUT OF THE MOVIE. STILL, IT'S A GOOD PLAYER.

I am very happy with my LG Blu-Ray player. My blu-ray discs play perfectly without any freezing or choking, it remembers where I left off when I have to stop it, and there is a wide variety of streaming apps to use as well. The player is also quite compact and takes up little space.

Gave as Christmas gift to my dad. He is not very technical but he said setup was easy and they are streaming some items from Amazon.

Great picture and all, but some of the newest DVD's won't play. Also, a little difficult to use for someone not real tech saavy.

played blue ray , had internet for easy updates vs having to use a sd card and pre download from a laptop first boo.

Bought this to replace an older DVD player that died. Easy to hook up and for the kids to operate.

I needed to purchase a Blu ray player for our basement. Having owned other model Lg players I knew this was a good value. I applied my reward points and got it for about half price.I would recommend purchasing.

This is an excellent blueray/DVD for the price. It offers the basic and smart apps you need for your home entertainment.
