I bought this hoping it would be a good replacement for a Moto G5+ and Moto X4. The G5+ was my daily phone for a year+ before I dropped it and cracked the screen. I bought the Moto X4 and it was a great replacement except for one fatal flaw: Android Auto constantly disconnecting (google it, its a fatal design flaw with no real solution at the moment). So I bought this phone hoping to be somewhat similar to the X4 and just really needed AA to work. Pros: Screen/display looks good; no notch; runs Android 8.1; stylus worked well enough; good feel/not too slippery of a backing; good amount of customization and power user apps; sound and haptic feedback feel premium. Cons: Laggy-like cant multitask at all laggy; TONS of LG bloatware; uninstallable apps like Facebook/Instagram/Etc all preloaded; not updated to Android 9.0; the setup layout is NOT anything close to a normal Android one; registration needed to use some of the preloaded LG apps to change themes and wallpapers; fingerprint sensor while good has the slightest bit of a noticable delay Don't even know if AA works with this phone as it will be returned in the morning. At a little over $210 it's a disappointing phone. You get tremendous display real estate but the experience is mostly mediocre. The camera seems alright and there seems to be a lot of options to change things but LGs user interface and propensity to push their apps on you really drags down the usability of the phone. If a phone thats fairly new feels laggy and uninspired now, there's zero chance this will hold up well once you add on all the future apps, notifications and updates that are sure to degrade performance further. At this price range you have a lot more options and you're better off elsewhere.

The Stylo 4 is everything I wanted at a price lower then its higher priced phones. If you're looking for a great unlocked phone with a decent stylus, the LG Stylo 4 is for you. The stylus is easy for me to get out of its silo on the bottom right edge, and when I pop it out, I get quick shortcuts to the stylus tools. You can jot down a quick memo, annotate a screenshot, or just use the stylus for swipe typing. I'm very happy with my Stylo 4.

The phone has a pretty decent processor and runs great for a two hundred dollar phone. The stylus is a major plus.... But the camera isn't so hot. I returned it. I love to take tons of photos of my kids.
