Some letters on key board do not activate as well as keyboard on older model Some letters you really have to strike hard several times or touch with your finger. Sound on Stylus 4 not as good as older model.

Can make calls and send texts. Memory space is not great, and the back camera has higher quality than the front camera. If you are looking for a quality camera, this isn't it.

This phone is a little difficult to use...not intuitive at all. It also smashed to pieces after just a small drop (2 to 3 feet height).

Huge Display Can't Hide Average Technology

In terms of size, this phone's display is definitely up there with some of the biggest you'll find on the market. The list of notable attributes it boasts stops there. Color saturation, display brightness, front and rear cameras, processing speed, and storage space are all adequate for light use but very average with respect to today's available technology. There are a handful of phones at this price point with comparable display dimensions and overall superior specs. Prepare to be underwhelmed.

All good except speaker and stylus

TLDR... the camera is decent the screen is great battery life is awesome but the location and method of removing the stylus is bad and the speaker is horrible. I had the Stylo 3 plus and was a little underwhelmed by the design choice and a few other quirky things about it but was in the market for a low price handset. I was between this and the Q7 Plus and although the Q7 plus had more features like water resistance more RAM and a few other things this Stylo 4 screen size really appealed to me. It might be the Snapdragon 450 that seems a little laggy from time to time compared to the 630 I was used to in my Moto X4. It could also be that for whatever reason in this day and age a Phone still has 2 gigabytes of RAM. Despite all of this there isn't a horrible amount of lag but one must consider all of the bloatware and all of the gestures and other bloated features that aren't really needed on a phone with these kinds of performance specs. I would have loved to see some flashlight shortcut. I would have liked to see the volume and power buttons a little lower as well as the fingerprint sensor a little lower on the back given how tall this phone is. Even still it's not unwieldy and it's not very heavy. The things I like about it, it has a fairly acceptable camera. The screen size is great and the bezels are thinner than any phone I've had before. I've used several LG phones in my life most of them G Series and this one continues with some good features added over stock Android but again there's just a lot of unnecessary layering and such. As of writing I am on the August security patch. I don't expect to see Android 9 for this phone and that's okay because the Stylo 5 will be out this summer or so and these phones are disposable at this price point. What I don't like about this phone is the awkward location and method of removing the stylus. It doesn't have a satisfying click like the Stylo 3 had, its a soft mushy unreassuring pfft. My only other real complaints other than the stylus is the single color LED notification light and my biggest gripe has to be with the speaker. Phone calls on the earpiece need to be almost maxed out and the bottom firing speaker just does not sound good no matter how you shape The Equalizer in the music app. It just sounds like a tin can, is very harsh and shrill with absolutely no mid or bass. This is definitely evident from music or videos or even using the speaker phone with male or female voice on the other end. I should also mention that the speakers location is easily covered up by a finger while holding the phone or playing a game or even watching a video. I know it's trendy to have a bottom firing speaker however at least when they were on the back of the phone you could use your hand as a sound reflector. For all of the good I can live with a few of the bad but the speaker is definitely the biggest point that needs to be improved because even the Stylo 3 sounded better than this. Also add that for whatever reason the T-Mobile version has 2 gigs of ram versus 3 in the unlocked version, however it does have band 71 support. I believe that if I were to get this phone and I was on another carrier I would definitely be pleased with 3 gigs of RAM but band 71 should be in my area soon and hopefully that's another plus to counteract a minus. If I have the choice to choose again between this Stylo 4 and the Q7 plus I would probably still go with this phone because they have the same camera they have the same speaker and same processor, the only difference being the RAM and the water resistance. Basically it's a little bit better than you'd expect for a phone at this price point.

That's unfortunate you're experiencing issues with the volume not being as loud as you would like also with the speed not being as accelerated. I do understand the frustrations the issue may have caused you.
