    Good purchase

This was on sale for $210 and I got it immediately. It's $250 for tmobile version but it only has 2 GB of ram. But unlocked version has 3 GB of ram and cheaper. It's very impressive handling every day usage. Very snappy and I don't really see laggyness like some people say. Yes, speaker and camera are not that good but you must realize this is low budget phone. If camera and speaker are your priorities when choosing a smartphone then go spend $ 5-600. For $210 for this quality is such a steal. I wanted big screen phone for everyday use, I am very happy with my purchase.

Big, clear screen accurate pen 3gb ram (as opposed to 2 in the carrier variant) long battery good enough camera 2:1 ratio, good screen/body ratio usb C fluid processor! the SD 450 is underrated screen color adjustment is nice (warmer is better) radios are good-- no reception issues or bluetooth disconnections Volte and wifi calling nice ux and ui If it gets android 9.0, its a 6/5 star device! *I am using this unlocked LG Stylo 4 on a postpaid Verizon Unlimited Data plan.* The device itself is well made and mostly deserving of the price. The camera lacks OIS so most shots WILL have some blur. The camera is the weakest feature of the device. As a plus, with the stylus, you can capture GIFs with the camera and the whole process is surprisingly simple. The speaker is also on the weaker side, but more than sufficient for talking normally and on speakerphone. It struggles to be sufficiently loud to listen to podcasts during a shower (assuming placement on a counter outside of water reach since it is not waterproof). The Screen is actually very nice. It is plenty bright for daytime, outside use and gets dark enough to not burn retinas in the dark. Everything is also nice and crisp. The processor is... Sufficient. It does not disappoint but it also does not impress. Rendering webpages is obviously slower, though not annoyingly, than devices like the LG G7 ThinQ with SD845 processor, but the SD450 loads all of my apps just as well. On Verizon, all I had to do was simply swap my SIM card into this device and turn it on. The phone adjusted all necessary apn settings on it's own for LTE, MMS, SMS, and VoLTE to work perfectly. The only two network compatibility issues I have are the absence of WiFi calling/texting and no Visual Voicemail with Verizon's own VVM app. VVM can be had through a third party app, but WiFi calling/texting cannot. Unless using purly data services such as Skype or Facebook Messenger. Other than that, call quality is excellent and there does not appear to be any lag beyond the devices sold directly by Verizon. I did not have to contact Verizon at all to make this device work.

I love LG phones but this is the best one I have had. I've had for about 4 months now and am very happy. I've had a lot of friends love on my phone too. It comes with a stylis built in the bottom. It's screen is nice size nothing small about this phone. Very easy to use and find the things you need.

I've used all the stylos and this is by far the worst. The large screen was really nice but that was about it. I have trouble sending and receiving messages, my phone freezes up several times a day and I cannot make calls throughout the the day it will just keep trying to dial out. It is too late to return it as I have reached the two-week point. I would not recommend this phone to anyone.

This is a great phone and can compete with others that are in a much higher price bracket. My only two complaints are that the camera is just ok, and the back of the phone is a cheaper looking shiny plastic. But everything else is great and I love the stylus!

Great phone for the price... The camera sucks though. By all means it will take some decent pictures but not great, so no selfies here. If you're not too worried about taking pictures, then this is a good choice at a nice price.

Since it is not carrier specific there is no wifi or VoLTE calling. I found that out after I bought my unlocked phone.I connected it to AT&T and Verizon with no problem just no wifi calling Also there is no IR blaster for remote control. Other than that it is great budget smartphone.

I hate this phone!!! It's literally the dumbest piece of crap ice ever used in my life. Complete waste of money. Phone is very slow. Drops the Wi-Fi for no reason and doesn't like to reconnect to it for no reason. Apps crash all the time for no reason. I dropped it after having it for just a few months and the stylus came out and has been missing ever since. Very unreliable phone as it takes a whole 30 seconds to even open the phone app to call someone. I only have 3 apps downloaded there is no reason for it to be like this. I cant wait to get a new phone and throw this one in the trash because nobody deserves this horrible excuse for a phone.

    Worst in the series.

Have owned every stylo by LG this one is slower than the 3+ and has no removable battery. The 4 is laggy in switching apps or anything in general that my 3+ could handle easily. The screen also shattered from a 2 inch drop highly annoying. Also has a charging/ headphone jack problem where Google assistant will continually go off every 2 to 3 seconds. Replaced this phone through insurance and the new phone does the same thing. Trash spend your money on the Sony Xperia XZ premium. The old one.

    Frustrated

Had a Stylo 2 that was pretty nice, but ran out of memory after 2 years. The 4 has worse sound. And I get a black screen 4 times a day - very frustrating since I use this for both work and gps. The group texting on it is frustrating, too (which I also used to use to communicate ideas for work). Gah. My phone is a month old and I have regretted the purchase for the past 12. Yup. Too late to return or it'd be worth the restocking fee.

Mic does not work most of the time.

Becoming really sorry that I bought this. For the first three months it was great. But then I started having the microphone cut out and now I can't get the microphone to work. I've done Factory resets and adjusted everything I can think of. The mic will only work on speakerphone when making a call. It will not work in any of the apps such as texting. Strangely it does work on Google Assistant however.

this phone is the worst phone I've ever had when you type a message on the keypad it sends gibberish it's very sensitive if you get close to any other letter it will put it in the display so your text messages doesn't make sense I've had multiple phone calls to LG and they wont do anything about this thing I leave them my phone numbers they won't even call me so if that's the kind of tech support you want for a product go right ahead and buy it but I would not give 5 dollars on this lousy phone it is total junk. And if there's ever a class action lawsuit I will join it hands down!

I've owned all 4 of the Stylo's. Before this one they all had lousy charge ports that went bad way before the fone did. The 4 has the new school usb port and a quad or octo core processor running high ghz. Should be great, right? NOT! The graphics rendering is so bad that its USELESS for gaming, video playback is stuttery, and the colors are waaay out of whack. I exchanged the first one thinking it was defective but the replacement was identical. I really hate this fone and really hope one of lg's competitors puts out a decent offering.
