    Great Wireless Headphones

I've had a few different sets of wireless headphones but these are one of my favorites. They're comfy to wear for long periods of time and sound great. Calls sound good and others can hear me just fine. The only downside is the battery is a little short for constant use. About 2-3 of non-stop use without being plugged in. However, with just a short time being plugged into the neckband will have them charged up in no time, so it's not that big of a detractor. Overall these are great headphones and I would highly recommend them.

I've avoided ear bud style headphones for a while because they've just never been comfortable, but I wanted new bluetooth headphones for work, so I gave these a shot. When I first put them in, I thought the sound quality was pretty bad, but it was because I had them at the wrong angle; they were pointed forward, but when I angled them mostly vertical, bass and treble both got WAY better. Pros: - TINY! After a short time of wearing them, I don't even notice them in my ears anymore. - Even though they aren't technically "noise cancelling", they are seated so far into your ear canals that they block A LOT of external noise anyway. - Reasonably good sound quality; they don't do an incredible job at giving the user an amazing listening experience, but they aren't terrible either. Above average, I guess. - I love being able to leave the neckband horseshoe(?) behind and just having the tiny earbuds to deal with. - If the earbuds are in the neckband and there's a phone call, it will auto answer if you take one out to put it in your ear. - I don't have to turn it on, when I detach the earbud from the band, it turns on all on its own. Cons: - The buds can slowly slide out of my ears, especially if it's a warm day. But as long as I notice in time, I can just push them back in and I'm good to go. - A little longer battery life would be nice. I know that's a lot to ask for such tiny devices, but my last headphones would usually last me all day where these little guys get me until lunch. But I just clip them back into the neckband during lunch, they recharge, and I'm good for the rest of my shift. - The neckband is not comfortable when worn during a run. Just leave it at home. - I would have liked a volume control on the headphones instead of having to control it from my phone. - The play/pause doesn't always work from the earbud. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what, but 80% of the time, it's great.

Bulky compared to wired ear buds but they are comfortable and provide great sound. Pairing with laptop, android tablet and phone was quick after having to guess passcode (just kept trying all of the ones prompted until it connected). LG Tone & Talk for Android and Apple, no such luck for laptop. Only concern - nothing to connect ear buds to neckband. If the buds fall out, might lose them.

Tried using these in place of my Apple earbuds at work to stream talk radio. Sound was very tinny and "distant". Switched to music, and they didn't fair much better. These sound like $15 budget speakers, not $200. As a Bluetooth phone earbud, this worked ok. I called my wife and my boss and voices were decent and they said they heard me just fine. Other major drawback to these is the 3 hr use. They aren't exaggerating. While listening to talk radio, I got the "less than 5% battery life remaining" warning at 2hr 55min of use. Not quite sure who these are meant for, since most single-ear Bluetooth earbuds last at least 5 to 7 hours on a charge... Kudos go for design and weight. These are balanced well, and comfortable in the ear for the full 3 hours.

Unboxing these are simple and you don't get much besides the earbuds, the neck band, USB to micro USB and a small set of ear tips. At first listen I found these to be quiet and flat. After listening to it for a bit and using the app you can download I found a way to increase volume and found the sound quality to be decent. These don't replace other Earbuds that I have but the convenience of no wires at all I found some ways to use these.

I would like to break down my review based on 2 hours test on functions. In terms of sound quality don't expect that clear and loud sound, calls- you can answer incoming calls by prompting voice commands "answer or reject" one score I like it, but you can answer incoming calles from one side ear piece as both pieces shoud be on. Battery life is good as I used it for 2 hours and battery life went down to 88% with is good.

I got this in the mail and opened the box. I was looking for the instructions and did not find any. I then started reading the box on how to charge the device and then to connect via Bluetooth to my ipad. I noticed that the device had to be charged via a USB port, so was disappointed that I could not plug it directly into a electrical outlet. I had to start my computer and keep it on to charge the device. Trying to connect them to my ipad was a bit challenging since I did not know what the name of the device would be. I finally found the name on the box. Thank goodness I did not throw it out right away. It took a while for the device name to come up on my ipad, but once it did, it was relatively easy to connect, but there was a delay which lead me to believe I did not do it correctly. However, that seems to be how long they take to connect, since every time I connect them to listen to game play or music, there is a substantial delay before I hear the sound. Patience is key. Just wait a bit and you will hear the sound. I like them. I have not used them during a phone call yet, so do not know how the neck ring vibrates or the sound quality for the other person on the phone. I would imagine that working out in a gym, the neck ring would get hot, sweaty and a bit irritating, so wonder if I can use the earbuds without the neck piece. I will have to try that. Bottom line, they are good. I would have preferred instructions and a wall charger.

The hardest part of listening to these earbuds was getting the package open. It's an awful design. It should just slide out, but it's wedged in the cover and I really didn't want to destroy the cover. After that though, these sound great. I scanned the qr code for the play store and the LG app loaded up on my Pixel. I was able to adjust volume as well as a few other controls. The unit paired easily to the Pixel and I listened to an audio book for about a half an hour. The buds weren't all that bad in my ears, that's saying something because usually I hate buds in my ears. The phone vibration is very noticeable, yet it isn't too much. If I had any other complaint beside the box, it would be the release. It can be a bit of a struggle to get the buds to release from the neckband. Pressing the individual releases should drop the buds, but the tend to need a bit of persuasion and that required both hands.

    Huge fail on LG's part

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

As a rule, LG makes solid products. But this is a HUGE step back for them. The earbuds are nice, and the in-neck charger base is a good way not to lose them. But the intelligence stops there. * The battery life is a joke. * There are no controls on the neckband to control the volume and tracks like every other model. * Phone is only functional through the left earbud. Not very useful if you need to keep an ear open. It limits you to only the left, and what's the point of having two if you can't switch between them to preserve the already pitiful battery life? * People on the other end could barely hear me talk. I kept having to switch back to phone audio to be heard. I only had these a few days before I returned them and went back to the LG Infinim I've had for two years.

The TONE series comes into the 21st century!

I've been an avid collector of bluetooth audio devices since the first A2DP devices came onto the market over 10 years ago. I've had the best, and the cheap disposable stuff. One thing that I never jumped on due to general unimpressed feedback from friends and my own tinkering with their own units, was LG's TONE series. I just didn't get how someone could comfortably wear that neckband and dangle those little buds by little cables and comfortably do anything (or be seen in public wearing such a thing). But NOW with the opportunity to examine the TONE Free model, I'm a convert! The band fits nicely into my shirt collar discreetly (I have a pretty large neck) and the buds, which are now independently wireless and charge inside the neckband, pop out easily and are easily returned to the neckband when no longer needed. The wireless buds themselves are a bit of a new design. I like the way they snap-in to the neckband, but they have a SLIGHTLY awkward shape for my particular ear. They're expected to be sort of "twisted" into your ear canal and outer ear space for a snug fit. I got a good seal and a snug fit, despite my discomfort at first with doing this, and despite the small appearance of the ear plugs, where I usually demand a much larger style. These had no problems with seal and experienced audio quality based on a good seal. On to audio quality itself - When I first paired the unit(s) I struggled with the Master vs others scenario where you can separately pair each earbud to different audio sources for monaural use. As a result, I got choppy, disconnected audio from both sides once I tried sending a stereo signal to both. Starting over and pairing the Master bluetooth LE identity cleared this up, Ive since been impressed with both spoken word and musical quality, though those that prefer hard bass may not find these satisfying like PowerBeats or the like... I would describe the audio as more "real" than "deep"... Still plenty of bass to make rock sound full and voices to sound live... Very good tuning just not for everyone as is the case with most in-ear solutions... Excellent volume even on airplanes and in loud public areas, again likely due to the excellent seal of the devices. Overall these are my first TONEs but not my last if this quality level and industrial design continues to evolve. My friends are now jealous that they didn't wait for the fully wireless versions and I can finally take these anywhere with all day access under my collar for a quick call or a discreet musical escape!

The LG TONE Free HBS-F110 Wireless In-Ear Headphones are an upgrade to the previous version, the LG HBS Tone 750 Wireless In-Ear Headphones. These new Bluetooth headphones are sturdy, sleek, easy to set up, and easy to use. Charge the headphones with the micro USB charger (provided). When ready to use the headphones, simply remove them from the neckband and place into your ears. These stereo headphones pair easily with smartphones and tablets, providing clear sound for music, phone conversations and more. A great hands-free set.

My biggest hate is no volume controlles on units. Have to use your phone to adjust volume or change a song. No point in them being wireless if I have to get my phone out to do thing. :-( very sad. I love my Lg Tone actives. These are a down grade compared to them.

I bought 3 new headphone set and all of them the left one doesn't work. The sound is also not that great compared to the HBS 910. I want to buy the HBS 910 but not spending my money on them at all because I'm just wasting my money because all my family uses headphones. the HBS 910 work perfect but these ones I wouldn't recommend. Waste of money unless LG can do something about it or refund me my money back or at least replace them with the 910.

I like the concept, but unlike my AirPods, these slip out of my ears easily. I am using them around my desk so if they do fall out, I won't lose them. My son whose 26 borrowed them and had the same problem. I tried both tips the small and the larger but still same effect.

    Good try but, Horrible

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

My girlfriend bought these for me and I returned them in a matter of hours. Pros: -completely wireless -Earbuds can charge in neck band Cons: -sound quality is poor -sound only comes out of one earbud when on the phone - there should have been a touch pad on the earbuds instead of the button because you have to press the button fairly hard and your pushing the earbud in your ear which can cause extreme discomfort after several presses of the button -hard to put the earbud back into the neck band without using two hands or taking the neck band off. Also hard to tell if they clicked back in place leaving you to worry if they might fall out. -poor battery life - price would be okay if there weren't so many cons.Overall I would not recommend these. Good try but I will wait for the next generation of these. I settled for the LG Tone Ultra with the retractable earbuds. Back to the drawing board with these.
