It connects to my laptop and phone at the same time. This was purchased as a replacement to my first LG Tone headset i had for a few years. This was a great purchase

Both were great however the sport version lasted way longer. I had these for about over a year before they stopped charging. For $200+ headphones I thought they'd last a bit longer. Since there's no replacement warranty I moved on to different headphones that offered a warranty and better features. Check out galaxy buds+ ;)
