Defective don't buy Model HBS-1125 -many reported

I have previously bought two headset same brand same style, but these new ones were modified and I consider them defective. They disagree. Only have 2.5 months the plastic cracked at the seam where it also snaps in. This cause it to buckle even further with NORMAL usage. Eventually a fell off... I sent them in for repair. I did not have an extended warranty since previously with other two I bought over a 10 yr period I didn't have an issue with... just normal wear and tear wore them out. I was told they do not consider physical damage under warranty. I used to be a loyal customer, now I will never again buy an LGE product. I would choose a different brand. The whole experience was not only upsetting but costly.
