So talking and listening to music has been a comfortable easy to use experience with my android device. It seems like a sound build. Beats having a larger in ear or hanging earpiece. Thanks LG

Also forgot to take them off in the shower. No problem, never skipped a beat. Very well built and sound great with my Samsung s8!!

Love Lost

He used it when he worked outside in the yard as well as at the gym, in the car…you name it. Unfortunately, he was burned on his face, head and one arm while clearing some debris in the yard and the headphones melted and the wires exposed. I can tell you that this was heartbreaking for me as he had only been able to use it for two weeks. I wanted to see if I could get another one, to replace it, but was unsure of warranty.

No Best Buy extended warranty

The first pair was replaced by LG after about 8 months under their warranty. The latest pair lasted 1 year and 3 months. Wanted to buy another pair in which BB only sells the high end 200.00 pair, got to the register and the clerk told me that they didn’t offer the warranty anymore. No way was I spending 200 for a product that doesn’t last much more than a year. Product is good if it’ll quit breaking.

LG's worst yet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Though the product code on the Best Buy website reads "LG HBS1100", that product code has been discontinued and replaced by the newer "LG HBS1125" model. When I visited the local Best Buy store to replace my LG HBS1100 under the 2-year warranty program, the sales associate informed me about this change. I purchased the newer model and took it home for a test run, and callers consistently complained that they "couldn't hear me" and that I "sounded muffled." Believing that I may have simply purchased one that was part of a bad lot, I returned the product and purchased one from a different Best Buy location - only to subsequently learn that callers were still having problems hearing me during its use. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT UNTIL LG HAS CORRECTED THE THE TECHNICAL ISSUES WITH IT! You'll find yourself returning it and searching for a more functional bluetooth headset. Shame on LG for charging $200 for a product that doesn't meet consumer needs or expectations.

No buyer's remorse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've purchased several products similar to these, and for the most part the bass response was severely lacking, sounded like a cheap transistor radio. I was pleasantly surprised by this product, the bass line "punch" is definitely spot on. The battery life is excellent and charges up very quickly. I use them on a daily basis, time will tell how well the hold up.

Decent product till it breaks- no support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having compared all the competitive products, I've determined that the LG Tone Platinum is the best option going (although noise protection and clarity still need a lot of technology improvement). HOWEVER, there is an inherent design flaw in this device: when you pull it apart to put it around your neck, no matter how careful you are (remember- I've owned three of these), the plastic casing will eventually separate. While this doesn't always affect the functionality, LG's Warranty Department has figured out that citing this defect as customer abuse/misuse allows them to avoid legitimate repairs of other breakage (e.g. short in the speaker wire). Read the other reviews and you will see this practice again and again. Very unethical. This has happened on two of my three units and I will no longer reward LG with my business. I've concluded that I'd rather have a slightly inferior product from a more ethical company. It's a short-sighted play by LG because when they compromise customer service on small electronics, they're likely losing a potential customer for large appliances like refrigerators and TV's.

Absolute Garbage

In the right bud, the audio is louder but not much more than a whisper. They are comfortable. For $3 you can get very comfortable ear plugs. Save the $196 and just do that.

Poor LG headset quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My poor experience with a LG wireless headset involves the HBS780 model (bought from Best Buy in December 2017). All was well until March 2019 (3 months outside of the 12 month warranty period) when the left earbud/speaker stopped working. I contacted LG and was basically told "tough" as the unit was outside of warranty. I continued with the headset using the right hand earbud only until it quit on April 23rd i.e. 5 months outside of the warranty period. If the LG plan is for customers to need a new headset shortly after the warranty expires then well done!!! However, my advice to all potential customers is DO NOT buy from LG!!!

Ok quality limited function

When uts turned on it turns off yiur ringer with no option to change thst and all notification have the sane single bell sound played only through the headset. So if you dont have the ear piece in the ear you will not know of any calls emails or text messages

DO NOT BUY! - BREAKS IN ONE YEAR

Every single one has stopped working within a year to a year-and-a-half. First one earbud stops working and then the other. While they work they are great, but for the cost they should not fail this often. We lightly use them and do not abuse them. Steer clear!

Too quiet.
