I read a review that there's not much differentiation between dryers. That's probably true as far as basic features and settings. What I like about this dryer is that it's fast, but not so fast that I've had a damp load yet. This appears to have a good moisture sensor because it isn't simply over drying. Does its basic job (drying) very well. Haven't personally had cause to use steam yet... I'd still buy this exact model again for the dryer function only... maybe one day I'll have cause to use steam and like it even more

Our previous LG machines were purchased 14 years ago (this is how long our machine were working with no problem). it's just was time for the new ones and we came straight to buy new LG. As of right now - working Great!!

Out of box purchase--no paper work, the installer could give no information and the dryer has error code after every dry load. I called best buy still waiting on return call. Dryer is super quiet--

We had a really tight spot to fit the stacked washer and dryer and this LG pair were about the only full-size that would. Dryer works great and has a lot of features including steam. Great price on the pair as well.

Had our washer, dryer, sidekick and dryer pedestal deliver with no issues. The installers did a great job. We have had the set now for a month and my wife and I can say it is the best we have ever owned.

I’ve only been using it a couple of days but so far it gets the job done . Not sure how the steam function work as I haven’t gotten a change to use it yet but I will soon!

We've had this unit for about 3 months now and after running dozens of loads through it, the washer has performed wonderfully. We haven't had any problems with leaks, it's cleaned some standard stains out of our clothes and the noise is normal for this type of washer. (If you put it on the highest spin rate though, it is pretty loud. Medium spin is perfectly normal though). The drum did smell a bit chemically after the first two loads but didn't affect the clothes and went away after another load or two. Just make sure it's level, use small amounts of detergent, and leave the door propped open for a day after doing a load and you'll be in good shape.

Overpriced. Doesn't autodry as I would expect. more often that not it over dries and ruins clothes. Sometimes its too wet and sometimes it's too dry. The steam feature does not work well. It does not come out wrinkle free and it uses too much bottle water. basically you have to refill it everytime if you want to use the steam feature that does not remove wrinkles from your clothes. Positive note, it is fairly quiet. No real wifi ability as well. NFC and you just connect to the phone, you cannot control it or get updates when cycle is done.

Dryer doesn't fully complete task on single cycle, but close. There are better machines on the market, but not at this price point. BB continues to offer a great selection and strong sales. It's our second LG washer / dryer of this line and we're mostly pleased. We've tried others and the lack of 100% dry clothes tends to run across the brands.

Purchased our new dryer from Best Buy to replace our old Maytag. This is an awesome dryer and drys Manu different loads with ease. The electronic controls are very accurate based on load. LG is great!

Easy to use and accommodates king size blankets and bedspreads. The top plastic slide open cover seems a little questionable on its ability to hold up over time. It feels a little fragile.

needed dryer for our new home, as the buyer of our prior home wanted the washer and dryer......a three year old model similar to this one. We had been completely happy with the LG brand!!!

So quite, does not heat up the room when in use, I love it.

Previously I've had GE and a Whirpool dryers...this Samsung dryer is no comparison - performs much better and has better features.
