Purchased this washer and it worked great. The delivery team left the pins in the washer so Best Buy replaced it for me promptly.

I bought this about 6 weeks ago and so far everything has been wonderful. But then I tried washing a comforter and somehow in the spin cycle, it just won't remove the excess water. I ran the spin cycle a few times and still my comforter came out soaking wet. I had to hang the comforter up to drip dry before putting it in the dryer. The same thing happened for the bath rugs that I tried to wash separately. So this washer is not good for big heavy items. My old Kenmore was able to do everything easily but it was 15 years old and time to go. This LG washer is also very large. I have a big laundry room but this washer made the room very small and tight and barely any room to move around.

I bought this washer and matching dryer in January 2013. Best Buy delivered them promptly, as scheduled, and the guys did a great job. The two LG appliances are beauties and they do a fine job, even on a full set of heavy king sheets and pillowcases. The problem lies with Best Buy itself. They advertise no delivery fee, but charged me for it anyway. I also purchased in installation of the gas dryer, but my neighbor hooked it up for me the day before the GeekSquad was to perform the work, so I called and cancelled that. Best Buy promised me a refund, but here it is a month later and I'm still waiting for my $200 to appear. And you just know how quickly it disappeared when I gave them the order, I think. I feel cheated,and now I have to navigate their absurd phone network to try to get someone on the other end that could give a care about me and my money finding each other once again. Ive already been there for an other issue and I can tell you that getting the right person on the line over there is an excercise in futility,requiring patience, understanding and humility. Don't do it!

This washer was touted by every sales person at nearly every store as FABULOUS. But it's unreasonably loud. The washer performs alright. Was warned that mold inevitable-so quite a bit if extra care is necessary. Really preferred my Duet to this LG. also, water doesn't seem to get in the clothes into deep into the 58 minimum wash unless an extra rinse and then It's anywhere near 2 hours
