Loved LG in Australia so tried it again here. Overall was great price with good features. My clothes are clean and a lot faster than before. Only issues I have is can be a bit noisy but am thinking stuck with that for washing machines and can be a bit challenging to figure out how and when you can use the different settings. Overall though, would recommend.

After lots of research we selected this washer and the coordinating gas dryer. I'm happy so far with both of them. They replace a really old washer/dryer and the hardest thing to get used to is the longer cycles for both washing and drying but it seems to be a good purchase.

I love everything about this LG washer. It is fast and efficient, easy to use, economical and it looks great too! When the load is finished, it plays a nice little tune.

I like this washer; don't get me wrong, but if I could buy it again, I'd go with something with fewer bells and whistles. One evening, I had an unbalanced load, and the machine kept trying to work it out without just stopping the load and letting me readjust. I finally pulled something out manually, but had no choice but to run the wet item through rinse & spin, unnecessarily using additional water. There seems to be no "spin" option on its own, as many less sophisticated washers have. This washer also has capabilities to synch with my iphone. I thought it might be handy, as our washer is outside of our home. I thought it would "buzz" me when my load was done. Instead, it's some kind of fancy diagnostic and analysis of previous loads (why?). I bought this because it was highly rated by Consumer Reports, but in all honesty, I wish I'd bought the less expensive model that apparently came with an EBMUD rebate that this one isn't eligible for.

Quiet, quick, & clothes come out clean! And when it's finished, it sings you a song! Controls are clear & concise, at eye-level, making it a breeze for each of my FIVE kids to do their own weekly laundry.

The washer itself is pretty good. I like the turbo wash. One thing I have not understood is how the clothes come out always hot even when I wash them in cold water. This has sometimes scared me with delicate items

Love love love my new washer! Direct drive is amazing and it works wonderfully to get clothes clean. So much better than my old GE. I highly recommend it. Oh and it plays a sweet little tune when it is finished washing! (sometimes its the small things in life...)

My first non-agitator machine. Clothes come out as clean or cleaner. Wash cycles are much longer than previous agitator model but water savings are the trade off. Love the allergy and sanitary settings, especially when I do laundry for our church preschool. There is a learning curve if coming from an older model. I use 1-2 TBSP liquid detergent. I also use liquid softener instead of dryer sheets since matching dryer advises against them. The dispenser drawer always has water remaining at the end of cycle. When I am done for the day I remove drawer, dump water, then set drawer on top of washer to dry out. Love the latch that lets you leave drum door ajar for ventilation. It is a noisy machine when filling. I am happy with this purchase. Time will tell on reliability. We are tender with our appliances so hoping for long life, but not expecting 21 years like our old models.

This washer is quite impressive. It seems to do a good job getting the clothes clean. It is quite sensitive to being correctly leveled, so if you are getting UE errors, I'd start there. We've also noticed that really large mixed loads do best on bulky settings.

better than expected. it is so quiet and efficient

This is not our first front-loading washer, so we knew some of what to expect. We like the ability to interrupt a wash cycle and to know exactly how long each cycle will take. The machine provides lots of flexibility and the internal water filter is great.

Bought this with pretty good incentive deals after pretty extensive shopping. More cycles/options than you can shake a stick at, larger tub than I'm used to washes a lot of clothes. Everybody seems to love the chime when its done, and I agree. Only low points were the installation crew who did not properly lock the leveling foot so I had to re-do it, and it doesnt seem to have a mildew fighting feature built in.

I can't stress enough how great this washer is. Great size and if your laundry has limited space, this is the perfect washer for you! It's also oh so quiet and I love my fresh and clean clothes!

LG machine has good capacity for washing. It must be balanced well to use turbo function.
