We got 4 washers and they all had major problems 3 leaked from underneath on the right side (opposite the drain) and was not hose related. two of them made loud metallic clanking noises. I noticed the reviews were very good prior to buying and also noticed that after buying lots of others posted similar reviews, so there is some kind of manufacturing issue i think. In fact, we talked to a LG rep at best buy on the last exchange and showed him where and what was the problem, he was going to look up our serial numbers and investigate further. This Washer is great washer, i think, it just seems i got a bad batch. First one was 6/26/2014 and last was 8/30/2016. I am sure they will fix the issue and it will once again be good. I have used LG front loader since 2007, and will use no other brand. In the end we switched to the Larger unit called the LG Titian and we love it. Model # WM8000HVA I must say this, even though i had a horrible experience with the LG 12-Cycle washer, the experience i had with Best Buy and Best Buy management was excellent. They were apologetic and gave me no hassle each time i had issues they swapped out another unit. In the end they put me in the more expensive units at their cost for all the inconvenience we had endured trying to get a working washer. Best buy has great customer service and managers like Ryan who we dealt with are the reason I purchase all my appliances and electronics from Best Buy, and will continue to do so far into the future.

We had a set of LG front load washer/dry for 15 years, they ran without a problem. When it came time to replace them, it was a no brainer to go back to the same brand/style. This time we stacked them, wow...it gave us so much space in our laundry room and still looks great!

washes so fast, i love the magnet closing so it does not stink.

This washer has a direct drive system to the drum, AND a 10-year guarantee on that. My old washer (Whirlpool front load) did not have this direct drive, and it was the connection between the drum & the power that spins it that failed. A 10-year guarantee is unusual!

Love the washer size and options and how it customizes for each load. Unlike top loaders of same size I don't have to jump into to unload. The sound alarm is quiet but machine gives you the time in which the cycle will complete. Don't like having to wipe the door area dry after use but I will adjust. Recommend getting stand. Both washer and dryer have been great.

I researched a ton of machines and this combo came up the highest rated. We got the gas dryer and love both units. They are amazing and pretty cool as they sing to you when the laundry is ready.

This is a great washer and it comes with LG reinforced hoses, however Best Buy insist that the customer purchase an unnecessary stainless hoes for an addional $29.95. Otherwise no free installation. This left us with a bitter taste. Otherwise we like the LG washer.

Read great review about this washer and all of them were true. Have had them for about a month and they perform well. No need to get the bigger model, handles large loads without any issues.

Cleans great and packs a large load. Nice and quiet.

Works great while being extremely energy efficient.

Since our purchase it leaked only once. The first time we ran it, it leaked. Luckily we went and bought a drip pan just in case. Make sure to use the recommended detergent.

I've tried most of the functions. Seems good, although you do have to be careful not to accidentally use a neat sounding function which might blast steam on delicate things! The pump filter access is a good idea, but don't forget to use the drain tube BEFORE unscrewing the filter!

We found this washer after searching for several weeks and in three states. So excited to find it at best buy. We had already purchased tue dryer and wanted the matching washer. Had almost given up. Thanks Best Buy

I have had this washer for almost 4 months now and have had no complaints. Has plenty of information and guides to allow you to handle all of your washing needs.

Very nice..Love the options.. but it seems to easily get unbalanced loads so heavier items need frequent readjustments and don't spin the items as dry

The washer is really nice but when the load first starts it shoots water in real fast for some reason and it makes a loud noise and the steel water lines shake. I'm not sure why it fills so violently at first then stops.

I love using LG products, specially Kitchen and Laundry. Not every maker is as dependable as LG. Only 1 time we had issue with the dishwasher. But overall, I would recommend LG to anybody out there.
