Customers are saying
Customers are enthusiastic about the TurboWash 4.3 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle High-Efficiency Steam Front-Loading Washer's quiet operation, excellent cleaning ability, and ease of use. Many appreciate its large capacity and effective spin cycle, resulting in clothes that are drier after washing. While some users noted issues with the door seal and occasional odor, the positive feedback on cleaning performance and quietness significantly outweighs these concerns. The energy efficiency is also a frequently cited advantage.

Quality control issue on this model
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this washer along with the matching dryer on labor day weekend. Unfortunately I have gone through 2 of these washing machines with intermittent leaking problems. I had a tech visit and try to fix the first one with no luck. The second one did the exact same thing. The good news is that Best Buy does have a very good return policy for rewards members and I have decided to switch brands completely. I have had very good luck with other LG products and that is why I decided to give this product a chance. The dryer is great, but the leaking issue with this washer needs to be addressed. I am not the only one who has experienced this with this model.

Leaking washer, poor customer service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This washer has been leaking since day one and is still leaking to this day. I did not realize it was leaking until 9 months after purchase when i started smelling a moldy odor in my laundry room. I moved out the wasing machine to find damaged floors and mold. After much research I I have now learned that LG machines are known for leaking out the air vent intermittently during the spin cycle. It leaks just enough that it doesnt run out the front and you never know it is leaking. Just do a search for LG vent leak and you will find many upset customers. According to LG I need to use less soap. I use 2 tablespoons of HE tide detergent. This is well below the recommended amount the washer itself says to use. I went to best buy immediately after finding the leak and they told me to go to LG and nothing they could do. Going to LG is a waste of time as you just get someone reading from a script telling you to use less soap. I have had 2 repairmen out and both have told me it is a known problem with LG machines and they could not fix the problem. No washing machine should leak out of the air vent when using 2 tablespoons of soap. I have now had th machine for over a year and LG refuses to do anything with it. I have a towel stuffed behind the washer to catch the leak. I will never buy LG again and my trust in Best Buy is severly shaken.

Not what I expected from LG
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this washer in September of this year. It isn't the quality I expected from LG-definitely not worth the price. It doesn't rinse well-even when I only use a miniscule amount of HE detergent-and takes forever to balance a load before spinning. When it finally does balance the load, the clothes come out wet-even if I use the "high" setting on the spin speed. It also has leaked several times(I checked all the hose connections and they are sound). I called an authorized service center(there's only one within a 30 mile radius of where I live), and they have a one-month backlog...I don't seem to be the only one with a problem with a LG product. I have owned a LG front-loader in the past, and was happy with the product. If the washer I own now is an indicator of what they are making, I will never own another.

Noisy Machine
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Reading through the other great reviews, it appears that this washer is typically quiet. But the one I have is so loud you could never run it and try to sleep. It vibrates (even though leveled repeatedly). It also repeatedly makes a horrible grinding noise during and after after finishing a spin cycle. As with everything, I assume I got a lemon, and will have to replace or call service...

Leaks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Horrible washer leaked all over my floor in less than a year. When I contacted LG the repair person said we have to clean drum. We cleaned it and still leaked. Stay away. Google LG front loader leaks and see what comes up.

Could be batter
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had both washer and dryer for about a year now. The machine infrequently gives errors requiring to turn the machine off and on to restart the cycle. On couple of occasions I had to manually tern the drum to make it clear an error. The child lock function is of no use, as it fails to lock the "power" button, so our little son can always turn it off when he snicks around the machines. Not a big deal with dryer, but a problem with washing machine stopping mid cycle. I believe it is a design flop. I would say both washer and dryer are quiete, but the quality of wash is not better then previouse 10 year old washer we had before. Next time will try a different brand.

LG Warranty Service is Terrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought an LG front load washer and dryer set. Problems as soon as the one year mark passed. First the pump on the washer went out. When we called LG warranty service we were aghast to learn that, although it was only 7 days outside the warranty, LG refused to provide any assistance. Nothing but continued problems with our washer -each more costly than the last. The final straw was the drive motor, which is supposed to be warrantied for 10 years! We are blown away by the complete disregard, for their customers, that LG exhibits and have vowed to never consider any of their appliances, again.

2 years and start button doesn't work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our washer was working fine until the start button stopped working. Did an Internet search and turns out others have same problem. It seems like it is a mechanice problem with the button not making contact. For stackable W&D this is a pain since need to unstack them take off front top panel to be able to take out control panel to fix with making arm more substantial. this should not fail after 2 years.

Bad water hammering
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Water hammering caused by stainless steel hoses that Best Buy requires you to purchase even though LG supplies them with washer.
