I wanted the allergen cycle and for the rubber seals not to mold. This washer met both my criteria, since you can leave the Add-wash door open so the drum will dry out between loads. So far, I've only had to use the add-wash door once to add an item. But it does seem handy.

I bought this model for a 2nd home because we have the same model at home as well as a home we just sold. Obviously, I love it! Gets the clothes clean and has many options for different type loads. I do the tub clean once a month and leave the door open to dry out the drum after last wash, so we’ve never had a problem.

Seems to be getting the job done. Had an LG washer before and got 12 years of great service life.

It's kind of loud but it's great and we haven't had any issues thus far. Would highly reccomend

I bought the washer after a Samsung washer I had for several years broke down and had to be replaced. Having purchased LG products before, I was impressed with their consistent level of high quality. I have not been disappointed with the washer, which is also much more efficient than the previous Samsung product.

I read several reviews and chose this machine due to the high ratings and it's lack of problems. I love the Allergiene setting to wash my sheets and pillowcases and remove any dander. The Allergiene settings takes 139 minutes to achieve a complete clean. However, the normal setting only takes 39 minutes which is much quicker than my old washer. I haven't had this washer very long so I only gave it 4 stars instead of five which it may deserve.

Both washer and dryer have preformed flawlessly. One note, when the washer starts spin cycles, it sounds a little like a mini jet engine winding up. It's not bad and about the 3rd or 4th time we used it the sound became a non-issue, we became adjusted to the sound. My wife loves the musical tones it plays when the load is complete.

When I was searching for a washer I had no idea I was getting something that could sense what is inside and adapt to customize the wash as needed. The only problem I’ve noticed is that it can’t wash items with rubber backings like insulated drapes or bath mats with rubber bottom coating.
