Love this monitor, fast and clear motion but HDR sucks

Not super satisfied... 1 .The only Displayport is malfunctioning 15 days into owning it which was 1 day past Best buys return/exchange window. 2. HDR MODE is not configurable. Using my own spectrometer I was able to get a reading that showed a blue light imbalance thats so strong that I got a headache from playing in HDR mode after only about an hour. Eye strain was almost unbearable. 3. GHOSTING really noticeable ghosting in games like Forza 5 and F1 2022, essentially double/triple/quadruple+ image trails in high speed scenarios. odd trails of artifacts in the black spectrum present on screen during gaming. 4. SDR mode calibrated pretty well, switching to it gave me immediate eye strain relief since I was able to calibrate it to 6500K (Daylight) pretty easily with my spectrometer and DisplayCal. (So whats the point of the HDR mode than?) Summary: While I find the monitor to produce half decent blacks for an IPS screen, the monitor falls short in many categories, namely in reliability and customization. If you were expected to pay 500+ with tax for an IPS monitor in 2023 you should be able to calibrate the HDR mode and definitely shouldn't have to be worrying about the Display port malfunctioning 14 days after buying it. The HDR is a gimmick, it looks cool for 25 minutes until your headache starts. Pretty unsatisfied since I now have to expect to be without a monitor for awhile until I figure out the exchange process from either LG or Bestbuy in order to fix my display port issue. I really hope i don't end up with a re-manufactured unit especially since I just purchased the unit less than 20 days ago.

Great monitor but it lacks 2.1 hdmi for my next gen gaming.

While it is a bit pricey, the monitor is very good. It's got a nice display size and the resolution is nice.

Nice, fast, clear panel. Colors were less than average. Did not like the picture.

I love the screen, but there are some issues i had. Primarily being i had to unplug the monitor every now and then to get the button to work so i could change inputs, which can be more tedious than anything. And getting the settings right can be annoying too. So I’m gonna exchange it for a different one, for the price, this shouldn’t have that issue. At all

Amazing monitor great picture ups scaling to 4k. hdr no impressive

A lot of backlight bleeding. I know some backlight bleeding is okay but there was a botch of bleeding at the bottom center of the screen. It was hard to ignore and can be seen during the day also. Right side of the screen color also looked warmer than the left side. The vertical viewing angle was bad too. I had to adjust it to the correct viewing height every time, a few inches higher or lower made the screen washed out. It was a nuisance to adjust it perfectly every time because I shared the monitor with my 10yr old daughter. Ended up returning it and got LG oled monitor instead and I am much happier. I rather deal with burn in than the distracting backlight bleeding.

Great panel for the money. Nice to get 10 bit at the full 165hz.

Good monitor, but not my favorite. Settings are a little tough to navigate.

Bad luck with pixels going on on other brands. So far so good
