The last thing you want to do is spend hours babying them just to get normal use....at a premium cost. Oled monitors are not ready for daily use. One 6 hour stint in Unreal and spend 2.5 hours cleaning up image retention. I know, the instructions say every 4 hours "image clean", a 10 minute process. Seems trivial....but babying a tool is not what you want to do. It isnt always convenient, especially when it is that finicky, to drop and lose a display for up to 40 minutes in a long day. Stick to reliable old tech for a few generations folks. Ps...the darkness and text crap is blown out of proportion. That bit was fine even working on it.

I found one that was geek squad certified, only issue was I didn't receive a power brick with the monitor. I called customer service and they said I had to go to the store I purchased the monitor from, which was purchased online so no clue what store. I called my local store and they said they sell replacement versions online.

A good upgrade if you have something really old.

I kept having an issue where the menu button stops working, and the backlight stays on when the computer is off. Replugging the power cord was the only fix. I see a few others reported the same thing. There was also a backlight glow i thought was normal until I got a different monitor.

Back light spots on the edges

I understand its nearly impossible to get everything you want in a monitor for under a thousand but i felt like this would be a decent trade off. I was not necessarily wrong but i would not repurchase or recommend this montor to someone else either.

Pretty sure I got open box

I ordered it new to pick up on sale for 299.99 and when I picked it up the box was beat up. When I opened it there was a big scratch on the top left of the screen and the screen have wipe smudges.
