I can’t say enough good about this monitor. Great colors and brightness. I haven’t seen any backlight bleed or lack of uniformity. Refresh rate and smoothness is top notch. Love it for gaming and productivity.

I brought this product a month ago to upgrade my monitor that I had at the time, for I had a cheap 75hz 1080p monitor. After a week of research I ended up going with this lg monitor, and I do not regret it. The difference between 1080 and 2k is an upgrade that I never knew I needed. I now see 2k resolution as a bare minimum for any future monitors. The additional features that this monitors come with has been extremely useful in terms of gaming. Yoy won't regret getting this monitor.

the jump from 1080p to 1440 p is absolutely worth it. I have a 4070 and it bottlenecked like crazy with a 1080p monitor, definitely worth the upgrade. Idk if there's a better monitor out there for this price but this one has had NO issues. FYI if you have a small desk like i do, the stand for this monitor sticks out a bit since its fairly heavy, i have no room for my MnK so i have to sit close to it, BUT that's a personal problem, just be warned if you don't have a lot of space like me.

This monitor is super fast for gaming, with response times that are all "in the green" at all refresh rates. At the right overdrive setting, there is no trailing and no overshoot - just super smooth motion. I prefer to use 1440p monitors with Windows because they don't require scaling, which has issues. They are also easier to drive with average video cards, without having to use resolutions lower than the native resolution. That said, at 109 DPI, text is just too small for my old eyes. If you have sharp vision, you may not have that problem. Text is sharper on UHD monitors, but then there is that scaling thing to deal with. With a wide color gamut, colors are oversaturated - some like that, others don't - but there is a pretty accurate sRGB mode. And, being an IPS monitor, there is no color or gamma shift when viewed at an angle. But, all is not unicorns and rainbows... Like all IPS monitors, contrast/black levels are dismal, and this monitor is worse than most. Even in a well lit room, you can see the backlight behind black areas, especially in the corners. That, and your typical IPS glow washes out the bottom few levels of black, amounting to black crush. If you are competitive gamer, and can live with the loss of the bottommost levels of black detail, the IPS glow, and blacks that aren't black to start with, this is a great monitor. But I couldn't deal with the issues, and returned the monitor for a 32" VA monitor.

Amazing monitor all around. The colors, the framerate, and the size are all perfect for my needs. However, do be warned that his monitor does not have built in speakers.

Fantastic monitor, great colors, g sync is a plus. 1440p at high hz for less than $500. I have no complaints. Also the red is much more muted in person.

The monitor is heavy and the stand is great, easy to plug in and there is no uncertainty about it turning on or not. The menus are very original and animated. It has height adjust and I do not know about the rest of the adjustments. I have a lot of fun playing on this one and it is probably the best monitor I have ever owned, I have owned the Asus, Acer,BenQ,Samsung,Lg Ultrawide and Alienware. None of those monitor beat the one I got right now. It is very big and easy to calibrate. The stand is nice and it has both G sync and Freesync. It has HDR but I barely every use it, it looks good though. It is as if it was old and bored but that just means you got it just right.

Honestly, before I purchased this monitor, I was a bit skeptical at first with the 1 star reviews saying that there’s light bleeding and the screen is bad. I completely disagree. This monitor is truly amazing for its price. You’re paying for a 27 inch monitor that’s somewhat close to 4K for the display and it’s 165hz. The bad reviews talking about how there’s light bleeding, well it’s because they got a monitor that was defective, it’s not a big issue, all you have to do is go to the store and ask to buy a new one. I mean what do you expect, not every product is created equally. But overall this monitor is amazing, the screen looks incredible, there’s a ton of settings for the monitor that you can play around with. I would recommend this monitor to anyone who wants to use it for gaming.

My first 1080p+ monitor and I couldn’t be happier with the picture quality or the smoothness. I have a dual monitor Mount setup so I can’t speak on the base it comes with. But definitely a great display. Only downside is there’s no speakers even with the price, but that’s not an issue for me.

Great monitor with awesome clarity. I feel like this is the perfect size monitor for the types of games I play and the HDR is awesome. I am no longer guessing where opponents are at or where they are coming from. I can now see them through shaded trees and terrain with ease.

So far pretty pleased with this monitor. Colors are good and vibrant, response time is great. Especially great after a little online research, figured out how to watch Netflix with 1440p and HDR. Only complaint is the IPS glow which is unavoidable, but when the bottom right is displaying black (such as when watching a movie) it also feels like a weird pattern is being displayed as well. Trying to decide if I want to exchange it.

I’ve gone through a good handful of monitors in the last 5 years and I don’t think I’m overselling it when I say this LG blows every single one out of the water. The color was good enough out of the box but after setting it up it still managed to wow me again. On top of that, I have never seen or heard of any monitor that could possibly be more intuitive or straightforward to assemble and set up. No screws or bolts to muck around with as you adjust it, but it doesn’t feel like it’s not going to sit still where I set it.
