My 3rd LG Gaming Monitor

But if you want gaming monitor, you go with LG. It’s that simple. This is my third LG gaming monitor. There was nothing wrong with the other two, I just wanted to upgrade. This monitor in particular meets and exceeds what LG claims it does.

It's an terrific gaming monitor. I find that 32 inch is an bit too large for me and the 27 inch is perfect. I like the option to go to flip the monitor for reading. Using two screens, you can have word on left screen and excel on right screen for example.

LG 27" monitor

Size is just right for large Excel schedules when working from home or multiple pages open on same screen. Also great for browsing the internet after hours and zooming in on google earth when search for a new home.

LG UltraGear 27" IPS Monitor

I have had one of these for a about 18 months and finally had the chance to get my second one for a dual monitor display setup. Great color for my picture and video editing purposes. Fast response time, I am not experiencing any delays while rendering. I would buy again without hesitation.

A good monitor when on Sale

For the sale price, it was a very good monitor. However, the newer model (27GR83Q) went on sale about a week after for slightly more, ~350. I tried both side by side and while the image quality on both were comparable, there was a lot more edge bleeding at the corners on this one. Also the base of the newer model has a slightly smaller depth profile allowing for most desktop space. If you have the extra funds, I would go for a newer model but if you can only afford this one, I would not recommend against it.

Settings on the monitor are easy to navigate, use, and understand. The stand for the monitor is good quality, easy to put together, and the swivel and monitor adjusting work very well. Has been great for FPS high frame rate titles, and story driven pretty games like BG3.
