Huge upgrade from my previous monitor. refresh rate with 1440p is awesome

[Employee of bestbuy] I use this LG for the PS5. There is no HDMI 2.1, which means there is no VRR. Regardless, it’s extremely smooth at 27 inches. The 120 Frames is very nice. It’s very crisp at 1440p and the colors are amazing. It gets plenty bright, and very vibrant. Would buy again, 9/10. Just wish there were hdmi 2.1 Ports.

Mine was an open box so buyer discretion, this review is a review of the best buy at the location of purchasing and furthermore an evaluation of product appraisal and product review itself. I'll try to keep this short and sweet, so basically i ordered this for pickup at a best buy location that had it on hand the day of purchase. I arrived, checked in for my pickup, gave last minute questioning about the product to make sure they had taken time to really look this over before they gave it a seal of approval.. they assured me it was in excellent working condition. (The product was an Open Box- Like New or Excellent rating) I gave them an OK and took off. Held on to it for a while without testing it because I was still building my PC. But finally today, I hooked everything up and tested out the monitor. Display worked great, everything looked pristine and new. Got to the sound part, made sure i had the right sound playback selected to LG ULTRAGEAR on my sound settings in the pc. Clicked around and played videos on youtube, NO SOUND. Nothing whatsoever. I tried my xbox and another laptop via hdmi on the plugins, no sound from them as well. Tried the displayport cable plugged in my pc that was included in the box, no sound from them either. I even made sure that my monitor was unmuted and everything. So I came to the conclusion that the speakers dont function... makes sense why the monitor was an open box send-in. But it just baffles me that best buy would overlook a sound test and not include a note like that on the box. I paid over 300 with taxes on this, terrible for non fully functioning monitor. Not sure if I'm gonna return this if it's possibly a headache, but people deserve to know that honesty and quality control matter in a consumer business. Best Buy, I deserve better from y'all. But more importantly everyone does. 4 stars for the LG Ultragear product for being absolutely amazing minus 1 for the speakers not working. 1 star for bestbuy either not being honest about their product quality testing or not checking everything before sending something to the sales floor. Total 3 star review.

For the price of the unit already was happy. The overall experience I have with it is amazing. I LOVE the tilt feature as well as the up and down motion. I use it a lot. I use this with both my Xbox series X and my MSI laptop. It works great with the laptop but the Xbox hardware is pushing more graphics then I think the monitor can handle. The new Xbox can truly show 4K but in order to get this I would have to spend prolly close to 1200 on a monitor. With that being said I still think it’s a great monitor and shows a decent 2k image for gaming im alll about FPS and this monitor is pretty well equipped. It’s a good budget monitor if your not tryna spend thousands I think this is the best bet

Going from a VA QLED 1080p to this NanoIPS HDR 1440p was amazing, games look better text looks sharper and the hdr for the price of the monitor is quite impressive. I was skeptical about switching at first do to the difference in contrast but im happy i made the switch

Excellent gaming monitor with beautiful colors, and decent brightness in HDR. This is a midrange monitor that should be around 270-300, not worth the regular price as 1440p 165hz monitors are coming down in price. The setup is pretty easy. The image is very clear with fast response time and low latency. I would have given it 5 stars except for the annoying backlight bleed / flashlight affect from the bottom left of the screen. Lowering the brightness helps a bit. I use this with a PS5 and despite not having VRR support, it looks and works great. I'd recommend this if you are looking for 1440p monitor to play 120fps games on PS5.

Really nice monitor. Have owned for a few weeks now and I could say Im happy with it, just like any other 1440 monitor with 1ms response time and 165hz, it performs how its supposed to. Easy to navigate as well. The brightness is pretty good too for my liking. The colors are crisp and the quality of the monitor itself is great.

I have used this Monitor for gaming, and it has been perfect for all of my needs. With its refresh rates, and its response times being as fast as they are there is no lack of crystal clear game play. I plan on buying a second one to use a dual monitor gaming system.

I love the size of the monitor. The fact that it can be moved in all sorts of directions is a real bonus. It doesnt let me customize the settings. But I researched the monitor and it comes calibrated from the company. The picture looks clear and no problems with glare or dark areas of any video game.

Hmmmm this monitor. Not sure whether to give it 4 or 5 stars. I'm an IT nerd. The specs and price are INCREDIBLE. I was so excited setting it up, using the efficient controls that make pleasant little beeps. However, it has caused some massive bugs that bedevil me. Upon the monitor upgrade, my mouse started bugging out and disappearing, requiring a restart. Not a deal breaker, but annoying. Yes I checked the drivers.

Great monitor. I have been using a BenQ and an Asus for my old Xbox one X but decided to get one specifically for my series x. After doing some research I decided to go with this one and I'm glad I did. The color is really good, the dark tones look good as well as the bright tones. While it doesn't have built in speakers, there is an aux port in the back so you can plug in some desktop speakers or just use a headset. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

This monitor is perfect for gaming and productivity. 165hz refresh rates for gaming and good picture quality are a plus for all other usage. One thing you could beware of before buying is that brightness. I use this monitor mainly for gaming, but it is good for video editing and watching Netflix.
