We took a chance on a bargain monitor and we were pleasantly surprised!

There were 3 of these at my local store. I eventually tried and returned all 3 for bad light bleed. And yes it was light bleed and not just IPS glow. All 3 had it pretty bad in lower left corner. The first was only the left corner but it was so bright I noticed it just looking at the windows start menu. The 2nd one wasn’t as bright in the left corner but now had 2 additional 2” spots along the bottom separated buy 5” or so each. The last one had the most, probably 5-6 2” wide light bleed patches along both bottom and top of display. I ordered a similar spec but slightly cheaper MSI optix IPS monitor off Amazon next and the first one that arrived had no light bleed at all. The LG has a nice looking picture but you should not have to accept light bleed defect on these panels especially at $450.

Excellent product. Better than I had expected as it gives you everything you want in a gaming platform.

Stunning display super happy with this purchase the only zonk I will give it, is that it doesn’t have built in speakers but none the less great video quality colors are beautiful perfect for 2k gaming!

Had it a few weeks now.. seems like a solid monitor and a big improvement over my Dell 1080p. I liked that it is geared toward nvidia g-sync right (label is on the monitor).

I needed a monitor that would display word processing and spread sheets without clouding the text. This monitor does the job perfectly. It’s probably really great for photography and artwork too.

Excellent monitor for pc gaming! When using the display port I see 150-170 fps easily. Setup is super simple and fast, and having adjustable height is another nice feature. I highly recommend this monitor

Fantastic monitor, only complaint is that it may be too large

The monitor itself is great, but my complaint is the stand. It can go really high, but it cannot go really low. Since I'm short (5"4), I have to look up. This is a very uncomfortable position to be in. This monitor supports VESA 100x100 so I'll be looking to buy a different stand for this monitor.

This monitor is an excellent monitor. You get great high dynamic range (HDR), and you also get great contrast as you would typically get with LG's higher-end of monitors and screens. As advertised, those features and specs are of notable distinction. As for IPS (in-plane switching), the feature that should be giving me a wider viewing angle when looking at the monitor from anywhere other than the center -- it's not doing well. The first thing I did when I took this thing out of the box, before I even turned it on, was mount it to my arm mount at my desk. Being mounted as such, there is no way this monitor will be anywhere but perfect for viewing. Trouble is, even when looking at this monitor directly, the bottom left corner of the monitor is shiny white. Looking at this corner from any viewing angle that is NOT dead-on straight with this bottom left corner, makes any darker image look washed out in white. Whether or not this is a defect, I can't be certain. Other reviews list similar issues that were not resolved with a return-exchange. The most infuriating part is that I returned my equally-priced Dell monitor under Geek Squad Protection for this one, which was an abhorrent mistake. The Dell was of almost exact quality and spec, minus the HDR feature that isn't really all that astounding anyway in comparison. Bottom line: if you're looking for a great monitor for $450, this is great, but not $450 great. You can get this similar quality and spec for $300-350 with an MSI or other brand that offers 165hz/QHD.
