So, after doing some serious research, I decided to go for this LG monitor as a backup option. First impressions weren't great, to be honest. The build quality didn't quite match up to my Dell monitor. It didn't feel as sturdy, which was a bit disappointing considering they were in the same price range. But hey, it wasn't cheap enough for me to return it right away. Once I turned it on, I noticed it kept beeping and turning off. It was a bit concerning at first, but fortunately, it stopped after some use. Then I noticed some annoying backlight bleed at the top right corner. It didn't affect the performance, but it was definitely a visual annoyance that I didn't want to deal with for years to come. As for the picture quality, it looked pretty much the same as my Dell monitor. I mean, if I'm going for a similar monitor, I'd at least expect it to last longer and give me my money's worth. Oh, and let's not forget about the warranty. LG only offered a one-year warranty, whereas Dell has a solid three-year warranty. That really speaks to the difference in quality between the two brands. In the end, I ended up snagging a Dell ultrawide on sale for the same price, and I couldn't be happier, especially knowing it comes with a three-year warranty. Just my two cents!
