Unfortunate luck but really leaves a sour taste in my mouth, especially since my 1080p acer monitor is over 4 years old and still stands fine

Monitor does lack usb ports but other than that, gaming at 1440p @120fps is well worth it. Also accepts 4k @60fps. Best of both worlds without breaking the bank on a hdmi 2.1 monitor.
