While HDR is active some games look very dark and overly saturated with settings not changing a lot unfortunately. Other than though I’m very pleased with the monitor

I have to put the brightness at 25% to 35% or my eyes hurt from how bright it is, and the reason why anybody would need a brighter monitor is if they are gaming outside in bright daylight. I don't see any burn in and tbh first 2 years are covered by lg so I wouldn't worry too much

LG decided to go with the worst implementation of a matte layer over the panel that looks like a dirty screen that practically ruins the beauty of OLED. This issue alone was the deciding factor for me to return the monitor.

I get that due to the matte finish for glare it is definitely darker the if it was glossy, but overall it's still plenty bright and when you play are watch content for proper HDR it gets much brighter. I mean it's oled so the colors really pop. I actually was worried that it would be too dark from other reviews but after owning for a week it's great and if your worried that you have to use the remote for adjusting it's settings they have software you can download to control it as well.

Brightness is good when monitor is in HDR. Primary use for this monitor should be PC gaming however if you’re using for console I verified that HDR only works when console resolution is set to 4K. Hopefully this is addressed in a firmware update. The matte screen isn’t a deal breaker for me however I would’ve preferred glossy. If you want inky blacks, amazing gaming performance and great viewing angles then this monitor is for you. Very happy with the purchase.

The only complaint is that is that the bissel or border of the screen is to big. You lost a lot of screen total because of that. I use to have a LG32 inches and it was almost borderless. But this one I don’t know. A lot of money but lost screen when you add all the borders. The app doesn’t let me upload the photos
