A simple clean 4K player that handles Blu-rays and DVDs with ease. If it holds up better than my Sony or Pioneer I would definitely give it 5 stars

Great DVD, CD, Blue ray player...but, could've probably gotten by with a less expensive version. Hoping this one will last considering the price!

I bought this player to go along with my 4K LG TV. I had not planned on this but the Best Buy salesperson recommended and it turned out to be a great player. Of course it goes well with the TV, however it is also simple to use.

I purchased two other players because they looked ok and were on sale. Had to return both. Then I got the Sony. When it come to video just get the Sony and be done with it. Thanks to the staff at the Best Buy Store in Ft Myers.

This is a high quality machine that we regularly use for the 4K Ultra and Blu-Ray films in our library.

It has the noise with the Sony this but overall works really well with anything else bought it with my LG OLED TV was the best one for the time

If you want a 4k player with many streaming apps, this player is not for you as it only has a few apps. I use this only for 4k disk playback and it is great at supporting both HDR10 and Dolby Vision (with update).

I absolutely love the clarity, and all the features of this LG Blu Ray Player, this is my favorite 4K Blu Ray Player it's a great player all around, no complaints at all great high end player worth the money!

Very easy to use and set up. Home screen is simple even non technilogy users can use with ease. hdr pictures pop with color and clarity.

Amazing player. With this player, combined with the LG OLED 4k tv, our 4K movies look stunning. When we used this and the LG TV to replace our Samsun 4K equipment... it was like we were seeing UHD for the first time. Get it!

Used it to watch our free movies we got when we bought the LG TV and the BluRay player. Works great, no problems and the picture is awesome on the LG. I would recommend getting the player if you get a new TV

I love my Samsung Blu-Ray Disc Player. It was easy to install and set up. Easy to navigate, even for an old timer like me. The associate at Best Buy was very helpful and explained his reasons for recommending it.

4K LG player paired with 4K LG TV provides great image. Player minimalist front play keeps the focus on the image on the screen.

the best blue ray player in the market for that price, the really good performance, two hdmi outputs that have almost none in the market, excellent video and audio quality, lg never disappoints me

It does what it is supposed to do. Since we have a smart tv, we don't stream anything with this device. We bought it mainly to play 4K disks. It does that very well. I have no complaints about this product.

The player works great and it supports Doby Vision. The only downfall is it's expensive and has a very unimpressive user interface.

I've read past reviews regarding disapointment over a loud continuous sound when playing 4k DVDs. I personally have not experienced this; the picture snd sound quality have been great and the unit is silent.

We were kind of hesitant to spend this kind of money on a DVD player but after having at home and watching 4K movies on it on our 4K TV it was well worth it

I bought this player for my new OLED 4k TV after a lot of research. At the time the only UHD players enabled with Dolby Vision were >$500 like the Oppo, but LG had promised DV on this unit via a software update so I contact them. Their customer service said in mid December that this player would get a DV update no later than December 31st so I bought it. It was about twice the price of the next level down player from LG, the UP870, and really the ONLY thing it had going for it was that it would be updated with DV and the lower end one wouldn't. So December came and went with no update. I contacted LG Customer Service to be told it was delayed and it'd be released by January 31st. January came and went, no update.... I contacted them again early Feb and they said they had no idea when or if the update would be released. On top of this, the CEC control was kind of clunky and interface felt like something out of the 90's, jerky and with graphics that in a game would be considered, "retro"... just, ugh.... Soooo I took it back to BBY and to they were great! I explained why I had not returned in the normal return period and they were very understanding and gave me store credit. I used it towards an XBOX One, which is superior in every way. The HDMI CEC works better, the games are great (I've never owned and XBox, only PlayStation).... So in short don't go for this one, there are cheaper machines with better features from other manufacturers....

Purchased this when I bought my LG OLED tv. I bought a new blu ray and put it in and was amazed at the picture detail. If you buy one of these players, do yourself a favor and buy the planet earth 2 dvd.
