Didn't know much about this movie so we bought it. Family enjoyed it.

this is the verison to get. david attenborough narrates. the other version has oprah winfrey doing narration (if you can call what she does narration. if you've seen the US television version you know what i'm talking about.)

This set is for anyone that wants to see beautiful animals in some breath taking parts of the world. The set comes with tremendous video quality and audio that puts the viewer right there. I've viewed this multiple times and it just gets better and better wirh each viewing. Really hope these animals and their surroundings don't disappear because that would be a travesty!

Beyond this being the version narrated by David Attenborough (necessary), it is also a version that is compatible with all US Blu-ray players. I already had a version that unfortunately was at 50 Hz (off Amazon) and my poor tired Blu-ray home theater couldn't play it, so I was delighted that this one did work, and wanted to let anyone else know who was wondering.

A spectacular followup to the BBC Planet Earth series with original presentation with the award winning narrator David Attenborough as it should be. Outstanding Video on this Bluray that could easily be used to demo your HT to all your friends. Excellent for older children though may be a bit tough for the youngest.

If you're a fan of planet earth then you'll love this. Some clips are from planet earth and some are new material. This is the David Attenborough narration so it is better than the Oprah one that everyone hates. Picture quality is fantastic and in 1080p. It was on-sale for very cheap during the holidays!

This is a continuation of the wonderful nature documentaries done by the BBC and Discovery Channel. This version is even better since it is narrated by David Attenborough and not Oprah Winfrey. I highly recommend this for both entertainment and educational purposes.

I was always eager to buy this collection but was little expensive. Once I saw a deal in bestbuy, I bought it. I was thinking that this would be a good video quality nature show but it was beyond my expectations. The cinematography is amazing!

If you like Planet Earth, this set is a must own. It has a great mix of segments from all over the animal kingdom. Lots of slow-mos and the clips are surprisingly fresh compared to planet earth. Almost like a part-2.

Like previous reviewers have said, go with this narrator, not Oprah. You'll be surprised at what some of the animals do like I was. I'm happy to add this to my movie collection and for great price too.

Got this along with planet earth for my grandfathers birthday. He loved it. Everytime he sees it hes just in awe of the picture. Must have for anyone whos big into animal planet like him.

Everyone knows how much effort the BBC puts into there documentaries. This is one of the best cronicalling all aspects of planet earth.

Great documentary, informative and provides a lot of information I didn't know previously. Commentary isn't the best but for $20 can't beat the cinematography.
