I bought six of these bulbs for $59 each. Easy to install and link to your wifi through the LiFx app. Lots of color options and scenes available. The infrared is a great feature for security cameras at night. My only complaint is the price point. I think $59 per bulb is a little steep and $40-50 would be a more resonable price. I chose these over the Hue bulbs because they dont require a separate hub to work, just a wifi connection.

We now have 9 of these bulbs and they are great! - No problems. Easy to set up. We don't always change the colors but being able to adjust the colors slightly to create a very warm and cozy lighting is great. We have them set to come on a specific time in the morning and then slowly fade off about an hour after sunrise and fade on about an hour before sunset. We almost never turn on lights anymore - because they are already on! It is fun to play with the colors and they are handy when trying to change the mood - especially when entertaining and have them rotate through colors or themes.

I already have about eight of the original LIFX multi color bulb but they were the first gen. I got two of these 2nd gen for the Infrared to help my camera built-in IR. Now I can see much better all around in my camera when all lights are off. I also noticed that the color portion of these new bulb are also better than the 1st gen.

I absolutely love these bulbs. They’re super bright, and have incredible colors. Hue can’t touch these in brightness or saturation. Try a hue bulb on green and then one of these. It’ll be way brighter and a much more eye pleasing color.

This light is controllable through an app on your phone and though the spectrum of colors is limited, its still fun to change and see the effects and all from the comfort of your phone. Great way to instantly set a mood in a room :)

These bulbs work really well, they also work with my Nest Cams to help night vision recording. They are expensive, but you don't need a hub and you get what you pay for.

Purchased this LIFX A19 to replace the LIFX A7 for outdoor use and couldn't be more pleased. The A19 connected seamlessly to my home network and I was very impressed. It hasn't disconnected like the A7 used to all the time. The included Nightvision makes a big difference with my outdoor camera quality too. LIFX really hit it out of the park with this one.

I love my LIFX bulbs! I recently switched from Philip Hue and I’d prefer LIFX for starters you don’t need the pesky annoying bridge that has to be plugged into a Ethernet, just screw your LIFX bulb in and sync, easy as that. Another big plus is when turning the lights on/off and changing light colors you don’t need to be connected to the WiFi source the lights are on. If you only have a need for a few lights(3-5), LIFX is far superior than any competition

These bulbs produce the brightest and most colorful bulbs that I’ve tried. I love that they connect directly to my Wi-Fi network and can be controlled by Alexa, the LiFx App and IFTTT.

The only real knock read about these bulbs before purchasing was that they didn't support Apple Home. Now they do. No hub required, intuitive app, nice presets--nothing is wanting.

This light bulb is great, bright and colorful. This is a new gen., I have two of the original LIFX brand bulbs. They are all fantastic. They are expensive, but smart and bright and colorful. You pay higher amounts for higher quality, this is one of those things. You can try to wait for a discount or sale.

Went for the Lifx brand since it has no hub required unlike the Philips hue. Setup was fast - Was very happy with the brightness, colour range and functionality (scheduling) including IFTtt integration. And then the interment connection dropped. Both the phone app and Alexa echo reported the device as offline over and over. Only way to get it back on seemed to manually power cycle it. Then again it would drop off in a bit. Also next day evening the schedule worked well as it came back on at sundown - but then again the connection failed on its own. It's not the wifi since all other devices work well in the room. Returned it within 48 hours. No time to troubleshoot this with the tech support. Will wait for a better /cheaper next gen version I guess.

I have owned Lifx lights since they first came out. Great lights, no need for a hub, works excellent with HomeKit and Amazon Echo.

Great light with a range of colors. I can control the light from anywhere on the Lifx app. Very difficult to connect to the Apple Home application. I hope to add more Lifx light bulbs to illuminate my home (once I save enough money - quite expensive).

Cool LED color light bulb and has a good brightness level but pricy.

LIFX continues to be one of the best smart bulbs out there. This A19 with the built-in infrared is definitely super helpful for my Arlo cameras, helping extend the infrared light. While pricey, the simplicity more than makes up for it.

This smart lightbulb color is beautiful. This lightbulb is very customization and requires no hub. Some how it disconnects with the home system quite a bit.

This is an excellent smart lightbulb. You can use multiple colors on this lightbulb and change them by using your smart phone. It is very easy to use and maneuver.
