Not bad.. just Meh.... I've had this over a month with no real issues. App works really well, no connectivity issues. What kept me from giving it a higher rating was the high price and what seems to me as not as bright as i hoped. I purchased this to assist my surveillance cameras in outdoor recording. The IR brightness is very underwhelming. You are way better off sticking with incandescent light bulbs. I ended using it in my office instead. It takes 2 of them to light up my office properly which makes this expansive.. Would i recommend this? yeah not bad... My small kids love playing with the different colors.

Very easy to setup and use. It also now supports HomeKit from Apple.

Have had this for over a year now and love it! Colors are rich, wish I had purchased more. They are a little in the expensive side but they’ll last a long time before needing replacements. Definitely need more of them!

These lights go hand-in-hand with my Echo Dot and I can control them with my voice like I've want since watching Star Trek TNG all those years ago. Added bonus, does not require a hub like Hue! Screw it in, and within minutes you're setup!

As a person with limited moblity. This is a dream come true and the multi colors enhance my moods. Only down side is having to reset frequently.... Im use to it know..

These are great when they stay connected. They drop off randomly and sometimes even while using the app. I have 4 of these and just deal with it but I could see this driving some people insane. It still turns on when disconnected it just stays in the last known mode wether it was white light or color so that can be annoying. When they work though, which is most of the time for me, they're pretty awesome.

I was hesitant to get these light bulbs but I figured I'd try them and if they didn't do what I wanted I would return them. Well they do what I want them to do and they are pretty cool to change the room and listen to music with these color changing bulbs. The only thing that I don't like is the app and how it took a bit of manipulation to transition into my Home app on the iPhone. Once I finally got that it was pretty easy to follow. Try them out.

Use these for various schemes through the house. This new one has infrared which helps our cameras see well at night. Caveat - your nest came has to be in night vision mode and the infrared is on when color or white light on bulb is off. You don't have any control to just turn IR on - wish it did

LIFX bulbs are easy to install, don't require a separate hub and the new Gen 3 bulbs are higher lumen and have IR capability. Got the A19 bulbs on sale for $59.99. Awesome deal.

I'm really happy with this purchase. LIFT A19 Nightvision they have some nice colors the brightness is beautiful and the app it's really easy to use. and to change colors and set upm when you leave home for the lights to go 0ff and when you come back home the light will turn back I on. will definitely recommend this product to anybody. And off course I'm looking forward to buy a couple more for the whole house

The main reason I got this over the Philipps Hue is because it doesn't require a hub (lower price if entry). The bulb itself is also brighter and the Hue. I feel that the colors are not as pleasing as the LIFX Z strip but could be because you can change each segment of the Z strip separately whereas this bulb produces a uniform color. You can also connect the bulb to your Echo account and control the intensity/color etc with voice command

Very cool light. 1000 differences colors. U can control thru app on cell ph. When u are away light turn off and when u come home light turn on. Awes!!!

I've been using Lifx bulbs ever since the very first generation. With Generation two they shrunk the bulb and now with this one, they made it so that my night vision cameras can see even better! The lights are very bright with vibrant colors. They integrate very well with Amazon Alexa (which is how we use them here most). Android and Apple and PC apps all work well. The only downside that I have seen so far is that there isn't as much support with 3rd party apps as there is for Philips Hue. I'd of like to have seen an app for lifx on my gear S3 watch.

Started with the Phillips hue, which needed a bridge to support. Meanwhile, i upgrade my router to the new eero router which only has one port (which i use for my desktop computer. When I purchased the phillips hue, i realized that I either had to unplug my desktop or use the bridge. Easy decision, phillips had to be returned, which made me look at the LIFX. The LIFX is awesome! No bridge needed, easy to connect, works with my homekit! I went out and bought three more for other areas of my home. It's great!

This light bulb is bright and easy to install. Just screws in like a regular bulb. Easy to connect to Alexa

Great user app experience and easy Echo linkage. App includes dim control, different themes, and easy customization.

Great product, I'm really a huge fan; or I was until I tried to order more for Easter services at church. LifX is having production issues and cannot get products to its retail stores or even to its own inventory. I own 3 color and 2 white LifX bulbs. All work great, brighter than Philips Hue but at least Hue is available and $10 cheaper once you have the Hue Hub.
