I have tons of these lights and I find every excuse to buy more. Easy to use, easy to setup and you do not need a hub to connect the devices. Much brighter than Hue lights.

I have three of these lights connected to smart things, and Google Home, and they work great. I have tried a few other brands of connected lights and all of the others have had issues. I have not tried Hue, but these lights are cheaper and more flexible then Hue (no hub required) in my opinion so I haven't had a reason to try them. They always work, and they communicate via wifi so anywhere you have WiFi signal in your home you can connect these lights, there are no dark spots that some of the other home automation communication protocols have. Overall I recommend these lights

This lights are very nice and bright. The reason they get a one star rating from me is that for years they have the worse connection problems that have not been fixed. I used Lifx bulbs about 4 years ago and it was a pain because the lights kept getting disconnected from my network. I thought I would give them a try again but the connection problems are a huge headache. I would definitely not recommend this lights at all.

These lights are amazing. You are able to do so much with them and there is a wide variety of colors to choose from. Easy to install and control.

they work great and they don't need a hub. would be awesome if they worked with Homekit. You will need some kind of hub to do some things you may want to do. works with IFTTT. They are still expensive.

Superior to more expensive alternatives. Rich and plentiful colors you can modify with a free app and your own wi-fi. Pure uncomplicated genius.

I love the fact that these bulbs are the brightest smartbulbs I could find. The colors are extremely vivid, and the whites are great as well. The only issue I had is that it took a couple times to set up a few of the bulbs. But once connected, they work incredibly well. I would recommend these bulbs over any I looked at which was quite a few. Two of my favorite features are from third party apps - a thunderstorm with lighting and ambient rain and thunder and a full on sunrise in my bedroom 10 minutes before my alarm goes off.

Two of my friends have these in their homes and I was impressed with the versatility of the bulbs and app. No hub or bridge needed like some brands. Lifx has a wide range of brightness and colors. You can set timers, turn the bulbs on or off from the app or with voice through Alexa or Google Assistant. It doesn't go quite dim enough to use as a nightlight. There is a colorwheel so you can pretty much have it illuminate the room in any color imaginable! It's surprisingly bright. Plus, you can always use the physical light switch for on/off.

I bought these lights after having hue Philips bulbs and now I wish I would of bought these instead. Brighter than hue and no hub required

After reading online forums, and watching a whole bunch of smart light review videos. I decided to get myself this Lifx bulb. And I'm glad I did it has so many features and is super easy to use. Sign up for the Lifx e-mail club and they send you different tips and suggestions on how to get the most out of your new light. I can not wait to get a second bulb now for the same room. Not because it isn't bright enough it is very bright. I just want to play with all the color possibilities. If you think you might want one, buy this one you'll be glad you did.

Once you set it up it’s essy to use throug the app and provides robust colors. Love this and will be buying more along with the light strips.

Lifx lights are the best fights I've ever used, love them, would recommend them. They cost a little more than the other lights but I think they're worth it.

My teenage son love used colored bulbs. He has collected quite a few over the years.

Works great , easy to install. Worked great with Alexa ! My grandkids love seeing thge colors change. Great for controlling away from home.

LIFX makes the best and most vibrant smart lights out there. I love the quality of light they produce. These lights work with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, and Google.

Set up got a little tricky since the addition of Homekit compatibility but is still relatively easy. All around a great product! Works seamlessly with Alexa and Homekit, both can control, not one or the other. Colors output are true and the range of colors and color depth are impressive. If used for accent lighting one is enough, but you’ll want three or more to create “scenes”. Integration with IFTTT adds many conveniences and functions. These are more expensive than their competion but after trying both I stayed with Lifx

After doing some research, I chose this over Phillips bulbs minus the hub; and Lifx is brighter and no hub required. So far loving my Lifx bulbs with my google home assistant. You can start slowly with this bulb. You can buy them one at of time see if you like them and test them.unlike Philips's bulb and hub which requires a large investment upfront. I chose these BR30 are perfect for bathroom and kitchen where there's a lot of moisture and humidity and you can use them outdoors unlike the A19 model which is exclusively for indoors.

Setup was really simple and it adds a lot of character to the house. I never realized how much lighting could change a setting

I originally bought 10 a19 and 15 br30 HUE lights for my home. It wasn't quite bright enough. I returned the all the HUE lights and got all LIFX. I don't regret paying the small upcharge to get a much more superior product.
