Honestly one of the coolest gadgets in home automation I own. For the price this product works amazing well. I have had zero issues with connectivity and I used it with Alexa and HomeKit. Only time it’s been difficult to use when I was switching it over to different WiFi networks.

Better than hue from the stand point of being SUPER bright and no hub needed to run Works with your existing WiFi I actually had to get the lower lumen version for the first time as it was the first bulb that was too bright ! Love these lights and we bought tons for over the house

Much brighter and more color accurate than the philips hue bulbs that I have. The only issue with LIFX lights (not just bulbs) is that sometimes they don't respond to apple home commands. Sometimes the lights will take a bit to respond while other times it's instant.

I bought this as one of my son's requested Christmas gifts. He absolutely loves the effects this light is capable of especially when it is paired with music. He wants to add additional lights at some point. It is a super cool light with neat features to have especially for the younger generation.

They are really bright. Work flawlessly with the Android app. Would definitely buy again. My only gripe is that not all the bulbs instantly get setup with the Android LIFX app. A few I had to reset or try to setup twice. Maybe it's my error or perhaps firmware updating issue. Lastly I think the sweet spot price for these bulbs is like $40-$45 each. Would buy a bunch more at that price.

The one issue with these lights is the need for a strong internet signal. If you have that, they work great!

In comparison to Phillips Hue which is only 800 lumens for the A19, there is no contest, this bulb wins by a mile. The colors are FAR better and the bulb is WAY brighter than Phillips. You also don't need to buy a bridge or hub device for this LIFX bulb like you would have to if you wentt with Phillips Hue.

Great smart build if you want to start small. I like the idea of making my home a smart home. This this bulb doesn't need a hub you don't have to pay so much to start. Also compared to other color changing bulbs I feel the Lift colors are just better and more vibrant then the rest.

I purchased this light to give some extra lighting by the hall, they worked so great I decided to add more throughout the place. It's awesome being able to control all your lights through your phone and change the brightness and color to your like. Best light bulbs you could buy.

The biggest plus for this LIFX (or for any other LIFX bulb) is that you don't need a Hub or similar thing to use your bulbs. Bulbs are quite bright and allows you to use adjust the intensity, color patterns. Ability to connect with Google Home and other similar systems is plus.

We own a half dozen of these LIFX lightbulbs and couldn’t be more pleased. Each device connects to the internet separately allowing us to control the hue to are own liking. The flexibility provides fun for the kids and helps to set the right mood for adults as well.

This is one of the brightest smart lights you can get for the price and has many customization features. Also it provides seamless integration with google assistant. My first unit of this product stopped working but to send it in to LIFX for warranty you must provide proof of purchase.

Good light, great colors, so-so Echo integration

We have two of the LIFX bulbs now, each in a separate room and integrated to our two Amazon Echo (Alexa) units. The Android app works great, no issues there. The Echo integration isn't all that great, though, assuming I haven't overlooked anything. For example: "Alexa, turn the TV Light on" is great, works fine, but to change colors it's "Alexa, tell LIFX to make the Living Room lights blue". "TV Light" is the name of the bulb and "Living Room" is the name of the group. It works, but is a little awkward. Ideally, you could change colors on any bulb in a group using the group and bulb names, or on the whole group by using just the group name. The other issue I've found is that the (2nd-gen) LIFX bulbs occasionally fall off the network, requiring a power cycle from the switch. I suspect it has something to do with DHCP lease renewals, but I haven't had time to investigate further yet. I want to set the bulbs up with reserved addresses and see if that "fixes" it. That would fix it for me, but probably not for the average consumer.

These are great I have almost 30 throughout my home. They're on the expensive side and the app can be finicky sometimes, but their customer support actually responds. Frequently out of stock and also often on sale, pick them up when you can.
