These lightbulbs are better than the hue lightbulbs because they don't require additional hardware. They work great with the Google home too.

I've been through several different brands of rgb lights and lifx has the brightest LEDs and the best bulbs and strips out there!

I’m slowly replacing certain bulbs in our house with LIFX bulbs. They’re pricey but I like the simplicity of setup and use. Works well with Amazon Echo. I like being able to set lights on / off remotely. The colours and scenes are fun too. One downside to the software, if you’re running a scene it will drain your cell / device battery. That’s because the scene is controlled by your phone, not the bulb. If you run a scene for 12 hours, your phone app is running, and communicating with the bulb(s) for 12 hours.

Bought 7 of these so far and are in use in 2 rooms. They are working as described. Love all the vibrant colors it has to offer. Eventually the price will determine the buying factor.

I love this lightbulb is the coolest thing I can control it with Alexa and set it to a zillion colors from Bright to Dim

I have 25 of them in my house, they work seamlessly with my Alexa. 16 million colors does wonders for the art work on your walls

This was my first smart light bulb ever, and I could be more pleased. Works perfectly with Amazon Echo, and has lots of customizable options.

I'm up to 6 of these now. Love that each room is set to a different color. Everything can be set and program thru the app.

I bought this as a Christmas gift. These bulbs do not require a hub and the colors are bright. I own these and the hue lights. Both are good depending on your needs.

This works great in a living room or basement lamp. Super bright. Very nice to use on a schedule.

Love it. Had one for a few years when first came out. Had to buy more. Last long anf love the colors and plays to music feature.

This is my second LIFX light. The first one was just a tunable white that I like in my office but wanted something for some ambiance in the bedroom. Usually keep the office light at a Daylight setting (5000) and the bedroom a light blue. The lights are impeccable but the software is still lagging. Have installed on my iPhone 6s but I don't know if the lights are really turning on and off unless I look at them. Another great feature though is their IFTT integration that lets me set the lights to turn on when I get within 100 feet from my house. Helps getting in with the lights on and hope it gives any intruders enough time to get out before I get in.

No hub required, great with HomeKit easily setup and a lot of color, temperature and dim options. The nicest of nice IoT!

I purchased these so that I could make my lights in the lamps voice activated. The are really great and the software has been updated often and has alot more features. I purchased the about 6 lights overall with some that are one color and other that are full color. The only issue is that since they got more popular the price has more than doubled so pretty expensive for one bulb. It is actually cheaper to purchase the Leviton Switches if you are looking for the color bulbs.

Better in every way compared to their main competition. If you're considering Hue over Lifx, don't. Lifx is better in every measurable way.

Brighter than Hue bulbs. Google and I don't agree about what purple or orange are. Wish there were a voice command to flash random colors but you have to use the app for that, even with ifttt. Nice not needing a hub though.

This bulb ROCKS!! The App is amazing and used it with all the cool effects to scare my daughter in my shower!! Totally worth the tears

Currently using these bulbs in my garage lights. Lights the driveway very well. Fun to play with the colors and routines.
