First the light is easy to configure and control via iOS app and Alexa. Second it is actually bright enough to use in a tall floor lamp to light a 10x10 room. Of course, if I want it dimmer then I just tell Alexa to dim the light.

These lights are the best, a little pricey but good.

brighter than the a19 but I think its a little overkill and misplaced for my ceiling fan lights. ended up stepping back down to the a19 because I didn't see a need for the added lumens or price. still good bulbs just not for me. below is my review of the a19 because the br30 is very similar just brighter and I think more focused. ... "First brand of smart bulbs I purchased. very nicely packaged and everything is pretty easy to set up. really liked the fact that you didn't need a hub to connect the bulbs like the philips hue bulbs. my only complaint is that I didn't seem to find a compatible dimmer switch and the Flic button seems to have horrible reviews. I like having a button or switch next to my bed so for that reason I will be trying out the hue bulbs in combination with the dimmer switch that they provide. nice bulbs just didn't meet all my criteria."

Bought a few of these bulbs to compare against Hue and these are noticeably brighter and colors are much richer. Overall happy with the purchase. One negative is that the bulbs lost connectivity to wifi and I had to set up each for a second time. Hope it's not a recurring issue.

These lights work very well and as expected and can be conveniently controlled using Amazon Alexa. The LIFX app allows you to group and create scheduled activities for the light, such as the setup of a dusk to dawn schedule. There are plenty of colors to choose from. The only issue I have with these lights, is that they frequently lose connection ("goes dark") and I'll have to turn the switch off and back on again to reconnect it. My solution is to set a daily schedule and have all the lights come on for about a minute. It seems that if the lights aren't used for a period of time, i.e. a week, they lose connection and you can't control them from the app or Alexa device until you reset the wall switch.

Was very excited to try out this product but unfortunately had so many issues with connecting to my wifi. For the price, I was very disappointed. I would not recommend this product until they update the wifi to 5GHz.

I can not be happier, honestly this lamp exceeded my expectations. The App is flawless and really well programmed, you can do everything with the app. A wide range of colors will amaze you and light effects will make your room a dance floor.

These lights work great. Set up was very easy. The only issue with these lights is the price. They are over priced for what they do. Other smart lights are cheaper and work the same. Save your money and buy smart lights that cost less.

Lifx lights are the best. They are bright, have the best range of color and are easy to set up. I now have over 10 of these lights through out the house and love them. This one is replacing a light over a chair that lights the area so much better

I got this game simply to have a hard copy. The game itself is such a feel good experience if you grew up in the SNES days of RPG’s. 10/10.

These lights are awesome. They were pretty easy to get set up and very easy to control. They have a bunch of different options that I didn't realize they had when I bought them. I would definitely recommend these lights. They look great.

I have a few of these, and they work really well. I have read reviews that they constantly disconnect, but I havent had that happen to the 20+ Lifx bulbs. Also, compared to all other smart bulbs, these are very bright

The lightbulb is pretty good but configuring it was kind of a headache but I'm also an idiot so i would give it a solid 4.2. I got it for sale so the price was decent.

Lifx does not need a hub. It works well if you have a good router. So nice.

Colors are so much more vibrant compared to the Hue bulbs. Easy to set up!

Great lightbulb. We have a set of 5 total, upper and lower hallway. I love that you don’t need a separate receiver for these lights. The different themes are awesome, but my favorite feature is the schedule. I have them set to fade on in the mornings. The only downside is that sometimes a bulb will just lose the network, but it’s a pretty easy fix.

I have several LIFX bulbs so very familiar with their ecosystem. This another good one to add to the arsenal for the appropriate fixtures. These always seem expensive but obviously you get the programmable capabilities. RGB is just fun. Quit being a stick in the mud.

I installed two of these in a recessed ceiling fixture in a 10' x 15' room. Got rid of light fixture hanging by the fan. Enough lighting. Gained ceiling height as the fan fixture is removed. Works with echo dot which turn these - on/off, dim, change color, control each individually or together.

My uncle needed a simple outdoor smartlight for his front porch. We picked up a couple of the Lifx bulbs and are very pleased with the results. They retain their last setting should the power go out or someone use the wall switch. The colors are surprisingly vivid. Integration with Amazon Alexa was simple. The mobile app for Android is easy to use with useful light control shortcut widgets. I did have to put my phone in airplane mode to get the initial setup to complete - discovered that process by searching the web after having some issues during initial setup. There's no hub required - these lights connect directly to your wifi network. Be sure you have a strong WiFi signal at the light's location. We had to move the WiFi AP to improve the signal of one of the lights.
