    LIFX bulbs stood out to me after hours of research on YouTube, being as they didn’t need a hub to use. So if you’re a household that’s only looking to use 1-2 of these this is great. The quality was superior and even more so the iOS app to control it was streamlined fun to play with. However, since you’re not using a hub with LIFX, each individual light uses its own bandwidth in your WiFi to control and can end up slowing down your connection to the rest of the house.
