An excellent alternative to the Hue lights, and Just as good! They are a bit pricey, but when it is on sale, definitely worth picking up. I returned this one and exchanged for the 1100 lumen one.. It was on sale for surprisingly a better price at the time and is brighter. This one wouldn't have been as bright as I'd liked it to be. Make a good lamp light on a nightstand..

The only smart bulbs I use. The only issues I have with them are 1. If they're on too long, they emit a ringing sound. 2. If they get disconnected from Alexa it takes forever for them to reconnect themselves. Sometimes I have to reset them entirely if we lose power.

I could never get multiple lightbulbs to work at the same time when I lived at home, so I have been buying these for a relative of mine for various holiday gifts. They all work perfect for them they said. Their kid loves changing the light colors and having every room be a different color. Sadly I believe going with phillip hue or other companies might be better though.

These lights are awesome, and unlike other brands do not require and hub or smart assistant to set up and run, just needs a smartphone. You can sync with a Google Home or Amazon Echo for voice activated control, but the LIFX app is very intuitive, lets you organize groups, set up schedules, the works.

Kids love them and so do we! They work excellent and we haven’t had any issues. Tons of colors and plenty of whites to choose from. Took a second to get used to not turning the lights on manually any longer and instead using your phone. Overall great purchase and happy with the bulbs!

Once you figure out Alexa and this bulb, it's cool. It's in my bedroom. When my wife walks in after her shower, if the light is blue, I'm in a blue mood. Like the one Keith Urban sings about. But soon, it's switched to red and the country hoedown is in effect. Tell Alexa soft romantic music and between the bulb and the music, it's beautiful! Well, she's beautiful.

Love these!!! We have them in the kids bedrooms, living room and even bathroom. We mostly keep them regular white but are always having fun and changing them up with lots of colors....totally a fun thing to have in the house! The app was really easy to use on iOS

What fun! A few setup issues, and then minor problems when paring with Apple HomeKit, but once you figure it all out, AWESOME. They do become "disconnected" at times, especially when people turn switches off. WARNING: You must configure in 2.4G WiFi. They will not configure in 5G. Also, KEEP THE PACKAGING! You will need the Homekit Code booklet in the package to configure or re-connect!

These lights work great as long as you get a good WiFi signal wherever they are installed. They work well with both Alexa and AppleHomekit (I don’t have a Google smart hub). Easy to pair and is responsive to voice commands. The Lifx app is fun to play with as well and you can set up dusk to dawn scheduling.

I love this light, the colors are amazing and are a lot brighter than I expected them to be. My only complaint is that the smart home connection to Apple HomeKit is extremely slow and often times don't work all the time. If you don't care about connecting it to a smart home and just want to use the LIFX app then you will be extremely pleased with this product.

I love it so far! The color range and how bright the bulb is are great! You can choose from warm and cool to various colors. We play with the music feature so much to have our own dance parties. Plus the range the bluetooth gets is amazing. We turn the lights on on our way home. It really is a great feature.

I have reviewed a few lights and these by far are my favorite. They are a little tricky to connect sometimes but after that they work amazing! I can pick any color or ask my smart Google speaker to change them for me. Very bright lights and the app brings many routines you can set up for your lifestyle.

I have sensitive eyes to CFL bulbs. These are perfect for anyone wanting to start a smart home but are unsure. Setup was a breeze even without looking/reading the directions. I purchased one bulb and it was actually brighter than the two CFLs that was installed on my ceiling light fixture.

This very typical sized light bulb is “almost” worth the roughly $50 it costs at BB. It fits in any standard receptacle and has every color in the rainbow available along with a myriad of special effects, plus it’s easily controlled wirelessly with an iPhone. I’d buy a dozen of them for all over my house if they were priced a little better but other than that it’s amazing!

It is very cool to connect to google home to control the light bulb, from turning it off and on, changing the brightness, changing the color. There was one step that needed to be completed to get google home to be able to change the color via voice command. i had to google it. sorry i don't have the steps, but at least you know it is available on the internet.
