We have several ceiling lights that have no wall switch only pull chains. These bulbs gave us the ability to dim those lights and also to change color or use special effects. However, I’m constantly having to reconnect them. They don’t require a hub, they work with an app or any smart home device.

I was really happy because this was my first smart home product purchase. I wanted to be able to have the pleasure of controlling my light with my voice or phone and change the color of my room with the light. Sadly I was not able to do that. The set up was easy with the app. But once connected, two minutes later it would not show up through the app or be able to be controlled with my phone. I reset it about 5 times because I really wanted it to work but it never fixed the issue. I emailed the company and their response time was horrible. By the time they got back to me, 6 days later, I already returned it back to Best Buy.

LIFX lights always work flawlessly. I have 12 of them all around my house and have not had any issues with the units themselves, they’re also much brighter that hue bulbs. Be weary on your WiFi networks though, these are only compatible with 2.5ghz.

These lights really made my home much more brighter and nicer

Simple installation; if you can call it installing! Download the LIFX app. Google home saw it easily and connected well. Asked Google to "turn on living room light" and it did. Asked Google to "turn living room light to green" and it did. Pretty cool. Oh, it will also do "daylight" as well.

I've used several brands of smart lights, and this brand is up there with the best. It's also not the most expensive, which makes it a better value for what you're getting. If you don't want to bother with a hub, this is a great option for smart lighting.

The lights work great, once you go thru the annoying part of updating the bulb, for some reason I had to adjust my router to only "N" instead of keeping my normal settings. That something that should be fixed. Besides that they work great with Echo and have excellent brightness.

Control colors easy and you can control when you not at home

Im very pleased with this bulb. Colors are accurate and bright. Worth the money. I would definitely buy more of these bulbs. Strip lights are also great. Ive purchased different brands but color selection is limited and not accurate.

These seemed like cool lights, adjustable in brightness and color and voice commanded once connected to the cloud. The problem is the connection, easily lost, laborious and time consuming to reconnect. And once you lose connection, it's like having no lights at all. Oh, and less than useless service from LIFX. This review is based on many months use and experience. When it happened again today, I removed the bulbs, replaced them with my 3-way LEDs, which I'm glad I kept. I'm glad I also kept the packaging for the LIFX bulbs, which I'm returning to BestBuy today.

I brought 4 of these instead of Phillip Hue. These are wifi and do not require a hub. I had a little trouble getting these to connect to my network but found out later it was a setting on my phone. These work great and I got them a great price.

These lights do not have an issues with WiFi connectivity. I set up different rules with them through Google Home as well as Samsung Smartthings, so they are very versatile. Colors are bright and fluid, the app is easy to use, and super easy to install. Highly recommended

In my opinion LIFX reproduces the best colors out of all of the colored smart bulbs out there. No hassle of setting up a hub or anything like that since the WiFi is built into each bulb. Also the app for the LIFX is hands down the best.

When setting up with the app, the firmware update will take a long time, and the app did lock up on me. I performed the bulb reset and tried again. Once the app was setup, connecting to Google home was easy. I control the lights through my smart display, and really works well. Bought 4 for my apartment, and have not had any issues.

Works great and easy to use but not as seamless as hue

I love these lights! I know own 4 of them for different parts of my house. I’m scared of the dark so I have them programmed to come on at dusk. Also connected to it to Alexa so I can turn the lights on and off with ease!
