This is a near return to form for both songwriters. There are some awfully sappy lyrics in these songs, but there are also some gems that would have fit nicely onto a Fleetwood Mac album. The first half of the record is pretty consistently great despite lines like "your jelly tastes the sweetest to me." 'Love Is Here To Stay' and 'Red Sun' are probably my favorite tracks here. Give it a listen and think of what could have been if Stevie Nicks had come by to record as well.

First 4 songs are perfect. Rest of Album is good. Christie's voice is wonderful. Best rhythm section alive (M Fleetwood and J McVie). L Buckingham, most underrated guitarist ever. So nice to have real musicians playing real music. Miss the days when at least 3 of the first 4 songs would fill the radio as top 10 hits. Close your eyes and you'd swear you were still in college....you'll understand if you were. Buy it and play it for somebody younger. Point out the fact that it's poetry on love, loss and life, not about violence, thugs, masagony, ego or strippers.

This album is basically the 'Fleetwood Mac" musicians, (without Stevie Nicks). While Lindsey Buckingham's contribution to the disc is fine, I think it Christines' tracks that really stand out. I LOVE "Too Far Gone", which is a very percussion driven number. It may very well be my favorite on the album. 'Red Sun" is a fine addition to the disc, but "Game of Pretend" may be the most beautiful song ever written by anyone from Fleetwood Mac. My favorite Lindsey Buckingham track is 'On with the Show". If you like Fleetwood Mac, you'll love this album.

Lindsey & Christine compliment each other so well that the melding sounds of the two of them are quite comforting,,,Some cuts remind you of good ole Fleetwood Mac tunes (especially with the inclusion of Mick Fleetwood & John McVie on the record !!), while others truly represent the individual sound that both artists achieved while members of the band & solo artists...Lindsey Buckingham is fantastic as always and Christine's vocals are impeccable,,,Highly recommend for any TRUE fan of the two !!

If you love Fleetwood Mac, you should love this CD. The strange thing is I love the Christine McVie tracks better than the Lindsey Buckingham ones. They do have that "Fleetwood" sound, obviously. The other members of FM are on here occasionally. Why they decided not to do an all-out Fleetwood Mac album, I don't know, but I would highly recommend this disc.

Lindsey and Christine have put together a great batch of 10 songs, It was refreshing to hear Christine's voice and always great to hear Lindsey's guitar - some of the multitracking makes the record sound like Stevie is on the record. It ain't Rumours, Tusk, the white album or Mirage - but what is. Rate it a buy - a good summer record.

Very nice album from the two best Fleetwood Mac songwriters. Plus you get the bonus of having Mick Fleetwood on drums and John McVie on bass throughout the record. On the first listen I liked 7 of the 10 tracks a lot and the other 3 are now growing on me. If you Fleetwood Mac I would recommend you pick up this new record.

I've listened to this CD about 5 times already. I absolutely love it. Great harmonies, great songs. With the exception of Stevie Nicks, the other members of Fleetwood Mac are on this album. If you just listen to it and not know who it is, you would think it is a new Fleetwood Mac album. I highly recommend this album to any Fleetwood Mac fan as well as any fan of really good music.

This is basically a new Fleetwood Mac album without Stevie Nicks.(Mick Fleetwood and John Mcvie appear thru out) Classic Fleetwood Mac with 21st century production values. Stevie Nicks will rejoin Fleetwood Mac Later this summer for a new Fkeetwood Mac album and tour next year.

If you have heard the Buckingham Nicks CD, and liked it, this does not have the catchy and unique qualities of that release. But, if you are a fan of either of the musicians, or a fan of Fleetwood Mac, you will probably want to buy this - or at least listen to a friend's copy

This CD is basically what you get when one member of a group doesn't want to join the whole band for a new album. This is a Fleetwood Mac album without Stevie Nicks. It is a very good collection, but there is a little something missing. A good Pop performance, though.

Typical of the later edition Fleetwood Mac. Great production with little substance to the songs/ Very professional but I expected more from Christine McVie as she is an incredible blues pianist. Her skills are subservient to Lindsey Buckinghams vision

This album exceeded all my expectations of what I thought it would be. Christine and Lindsey still sound great, and Mick and John always know the perfect thing to play for the songs. My top picks from this album would definitely have to be, "In My World", "Too Far Gone", and "Carnival Begin".

This is really a great cd. Essentially Fleetwood Mac without Stevie nicks. Mick fleetwood and John Mcvie also play on some of the tracks. Lindsey buckingham is a litttle mellower now and Christine mcvie shows no rust from a ten year hiatus. You will like the cd if you liked Fleetwood Mac.

It was real exciting news when Christine joined the band for a tour a couple of years back, twice as exciting knowing she was getting back in the studio. This might not be Rumours level FM, but its not far off. Again welcome back Christine, we have missed you!
