Good Inexpensive Gigabit Ethernet Switch

No configuration necessary. It just works. Twinkle lights indicate power and which ports are connected/in use.

8 Port Ethernet Switch

This was it! I purchased some CAT 7 cables to future proof the house and off we go.

Old Linksys GES replacement

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After 9 years of service, my old Linksys GES gave up on me, 3 of the ports died during a thunderstorm (which they were protected) and decided to get a similar since I had good luck with the old one. Plug and play and really like he feature of auto shut off if port not in use. So far very happy and I am sure it will last for at least 5 years.
