I recently upgraded to this 8-port ethernet switch for my home office after needing a few extra ethernet connections. Linksys provides a reliable, easy to use product that is incredibly inexpensive.

I use this for ally pis and servers..does what its supposed to do..much easier than aanaged switch..even a non computer person could use it

Need a second Ethernet switch so I decided to try Linksys and it works great. I have not had a problem with finding my equipment when I connect to Linksys ethernet switch all ports work great.

Works like it is ment to. With how many items we have, it is nice to be able to plug in any many items as possible and have strong internet.

Since our Internet runs at around 300Mbs, the router shouldn't be the weak link and hasnt been up to this point. Its plug-and-play, I didnt read any documentation and it worked well.

Does the job outside my wireless mesh network and takes the strain off the wireless.

I regularly get speeds approaching full Gigabit with this product. and it works invisibly (it just works: I don't have to think about it), even when I chain as many as three of them between computers. Some of the pictures do not match the current version of the product. All the lights and Ethernet ports are on the same side. (It doesn't have the ports on one side and lights on the other, as a couple pictures may show). My only gripe is that the "system" (power) light is ridiculously bright. I covered mine with a piece of red electrical tape (black tape is too opaque).

I needed to expand my home network and this unmanaged switch was a cheap yet high quality option. There's not much to it, as it's unmanaged. But plug things in, and they run at gigabit speeds!

New house needed to expand home office options. This met the need for all three work from home folks. Connections are key to getting things done.

A lot smaller then I expected...not a con though. Easy plug and play! I connected port one to my cable modem to extend the network to another room of the house.

I use it to connect my audio / video equipment in my a/v tower. This has reduced the number WiFi connections making more available for use elsewhere. This was easy to setup and to use.

My whole house is now fabulously wired to the internet thanks to this 8 port ethernet switch. Now there's no more buffering or lost wifi connections while watching NetFlix!

Easy to use. Plug and play . If you can't figure this out just pack up your computer and send it back to the manufacturer.
