They had a cheap chinese brand switch which I suspected was causing network issues. Simep thing to do is swap the switch out with a good quality one and see what happens. turned out to be the cheap chinese brand switch. The extra money is worth alleviating network headaches.

Not as pictured

It is different though. For my setup I need the power and connections in the back with the activity lights in the front as pictured but what I received has power in the back and data in the front.
