I bought this a while back and only had to unplug it once to reset other then that its been great it handles the 500 x 500 speed

Switches do not require settings. So they are inherently easy to install. Some switches, however, do not have built-in attachment holes for wall-mounting. This unit had the attachment holes. I avoid buying any devices unless they have a means of mounting. Neither screws nor a hole-spacing template were provided. I would have rated the unit higher if a template were included. Making the template and locating appropriate screws made the installation take longer than I would have liked. This unit works fine, I have Gigabit transmission, and I recommend it.

Literally just added the main Ethernet line and plugged in all the rest. No need for any configuration. And all computers online. Hope I didn’t miss something

I use this to connect my mesh network and also my other devices that connect via Ethernet.

It was super cheap and it did the job I needed. I would have preferred the Unifi brand...but when time is of the essence beggars can't be choosers.

Bought this to expand router connections. It is doing a great job at intended function.

It's a switch. Works as it's supposed to. Not much more to say but I was in a pinch, needed a gigabit switch, this was in stock and priced fairly. If you need an unmanaged switch for home or small office needs, this will do.

I bought this at the request of a contractor who was installing a new router. He did not have any issues and it appears to be working well. The employee at Best Buy was helpful in directing me to what I needed

I haven't purchased a switch in a long time. I typically buy them to 'split' an internet connection to other devices. The older switches I owned had a dedicated switch for the upstream, or the internet connection you want to split. This product is awful at indicating which port that is, but I think it auto-detects what port has the upstream. I used two different ports for the upstream and it was able to detect and split the internet connection to the other ports. Overall, the 8-port switch does the job.
