easy to setup easy to use and no drop off of signal

My dad purchased this using my rewards account, but I have used it myself when visiting home. It works a lot better than our old Linksys router, which was definitely in need of replacement. I had no trouble connecting multiple devices (PC, mac, iPad, Android phone, iPhone).

everything works fine but the online part doesnt work properly, tried contacting them and unfortunately they werent much help, linksys that is, hoping eventually they will figure out how to help me link my router to my email without having to create a new email account

Reading the instructions for installation makes it all seem very easy. I did exactly what the book said. Nothing. I called the customer service department, and the representative sent me through a long series of installation options that had nothing to do with what the book suggests. A little frustrating. After 2 hours, I still had no connection. Very frustrating. Luckily we have access to a computer network business that had someone come out and help get it set up. He finally made it work and all has been very good since. I am relatively tech savvy, nothing special, but average. If you are like me, I would assume you will need help getting this set up. Once set up though, it has been very good, so I do recommend.

I bought this to replace a 4 year old router. I was having trouble getting my signal out to my front patio. I thought this would help, but it didn't seem to. My problem is the house, not the router though. This is a good upgrade if you are using older technology.

Purchased this router to use the speed of fiber internet and it has worked great. The app that accompanies it is so easy to use that it makes prioritizing devices and networks a breeze.

Simple setup. Dramatically improved the strength and performance of wifi throughout the house (2 Story/Basement 4K sqft). No issues streaming netflix from any room. mobile devices switch between 2.4 and 5 bands as I walk through the house.

I enjoy this router everyday. I will say however, set up was a bit tough. I don't know if it was the router itself or my computer, but I could not get the smart WiFi up and running. After a couple troubleshooting hours, I got it to work and it was seamless.

Couldn't seem to get this to work well as a router. Seem to crash often. However set it up as a wireless access point and works phenomenally well with another hard wired router in between it and my modem.

it is faster & better than a lot of others, bought a couple of other products prior but always had a connection problem

I purchased an identical item about 2 years ago, and the 2.4 channel quit working; I decided to purchase another one anyways. The configuration and performance are easy and seems to be good.

This router was on sale so the price was right. It doesn't need to be reset every other day so that is nice. It could have a bit more range and it won't handle streaming Netflix and online gaming at the same time. Overall, it suits my family fine.

This router has a long range and works pretty Ok so far. Rating only 4 because i lost connection 1-2 times (not sure if it was the router or my ISP issue).

I am excited to learn more about my set up, I have enlisted the help of Geek Squad to round out the rough edges to my system... and am looking forward to great entertainment value. Excellent value for what I'm needing in this household hub.

The new Linksys (now owned by Belkin) SMART Wi-Fi EA6900 dual-band wireless-AC router is easy to set-up and has very good performance. ASUS has a comparable modem based on the same chipset, but I have noticed several reports that have me concerned with long term reliability. I have had the Linksys now for about two months with no issues. Performance has been very good and the WAP/router is very stable. Have not tried the USB media capability so cant report out on its function/performance but there have been reports of USB 3.0 issues with this device. All in all, its a great WAP/router but its on the pricey side. If you can afford it, its a great performer.

The router worked great right out of the box. The router has only required one reset, which was caused by a power outage. All of my wifi devices in my home work very well with this router. The only problem that I experience with the router is that it does not work very well through the brick and stonework that I have on my home. The router is very easy to install and set up.

I bought this to replace an old WRT54G. This is a bit more of a deep set up and am hoping to have it done when the family is gone for an afternoon. From everything I have seen and messed around with I am pleased with the purchase.

AC routers are great. However please consider buying the nighthawk ac1900 over this for the same price. I have to it the refresh button on my Linksys every few days other wise the network glitches. My friends nighthawk ac1900 is better

This is an easy to set-up and operate wireless router. Has an extremely strong signal level through the entire house. Can use the advanced programming to set parental controls.

I bought this unit and two new adapters, now my system is smoking fast and very reliable. They even have a web site to go to so you can manage everything. absolutely fantastic.
