Well worth the money. We were not able to fully utilize our direct tv until we changed to this router. The router provided by time warner internet was not strong enough.

For the price, this router is OK. I was only able to get about 100 Mbps (N) and 250 Mbps (AC).

Love love love this router. It works perfectly, flawless connections through drywall and bricks. Plenty of security options.

This router is a replacement for a Netgear WNDR3700v2 purchased from BestBuy 3 years ago. The Netgear failed when I expanded my home office network from 8 to 25 simultaneous devices over the holidays. I selected this Router based on its processor speed and memory (and paid a premium price for it too). But in the long run I believe it will be worth it. It is handling Gigabit LAN traffic very well. 2.4 and 5 GHz n & G connections are solid. but older A/B devices drop immediately or just will not connect unless I set it to WEP only. As far as 25 devices, Believe it or not thats very easy to do when family and friends come over to visit each with a smart phone, tablet, or laptop hooking up wirelessly and now each Smart TV, BD player, and Roku/apple TV/game console in each room all need an IP address. Thats not counting IP office phones of work computers. Overall I'd definitely recommend this to anyone with a big family or working from home were reliability is a premium.

Had E3000 started haveing connection issues after owning for 5 plus years , spoke with associate he said this would be a great replacement ,so far so good if this last as long I willl be verybhappy

This router took a few tries to setup as I kept being directed in circles between registering the router and the actual setup. It appeared I had to use the "auto" setup or setup wizard the first go round, because every time I chose Manual Settings it needed a router password that I hadn't even setup yet. Also, I am still unable to locate anywhere within the configuration UI where to setup QOS. Works pretty good for an access point, but I would choose a different piece of hardware for routing.

This dual band router helps especially when the kids are home. All the wireless devices were clogging up the home network, This resolved the issue. Easy to install.

Needed to replace our venerable old linksys router. One phone call to linksys for a little tech help and we were good to go. Have had good experiences with linksys and will go back when we need another.

It is a great Router, but I don't think that it can handle all the gaming that is going on in our house. It keeps kicking everyone out and we have to reset it quite often

Since installing this router-which took less than 5 minutes-we have not lost our internet connection once, which is a big deal for our household since we stream almost all our entertainment.

After unsuccessfully being able to set up w/ out lengthy tech support from linksy the product works well. But the setup was way to time consuming. However linksy was knowledgeable and proficient

I have very little patience with electronics and computers not working properly. I can follow instructions. If the doing isn't easy then I'm very annoyed. Best Buy sales kid assured me this would be easy to install. Kids these days...yet he was right! I had this installed under an hour. Like a champ. Which I'm not when it comes this this stuff. I have not had any outage issues or conflicts with my cable internet. I bought it on sale as well so that makes this even sweeter!

This was easy to setup and hook up to the house. Several different settings for what ever you are looking to do.

This was quite easy to install, and worked correctly right away. This router is better suited to handle all the bandwidth needs we have compared to our old one that was intermittent.

We love this router. Especially the fact that we can turn off internet access to certain phones or computers during certain times of day and night while leaving others complete access.

My 2+ year old E4200 router started dropping wired connections so I had to find a replacement. Reviews on this were good and decided to give Linksys another try. Set up was a snap and I had the network up and running in less than half an hour. Speed for both wired and WiFi is better that the E4200 and best of all my wife's machine doesn't drop every 20 minutes of so.

I bought this to replace a 1 year old Netgear router that ran very hot and would shut down either wireless or both until reset. The first Linksys unit worked for about 2 weeks then the wireless started to drop off. The box was very hot. I checked the external temperatures and they were within the specifications, but very near the 105 degrees max. Required a restart to get wireless back. Note: the power button is in a very awkward place on this unit, it is hard to press without lifting the unit up. After a few days, same thing happened several times, lost wireless. After the 2nd week I returned it for a replacement. As I was going away, I placed a fan on the unit (for 2 weeks) and lifted it off the shelf. With a fan blowing across it, the external temp stayed about 70 degrees. The fanwas removed today to see if this unit gets too hot. When it works, the unit has good range and all wireless devices connect. The usb connection for an external drive works well. The UI is very limited compared to the Netgear (or even an older Dlink) router. The ability to set up more features would be better.

The router was easy to set up and use but every other day it loses internet connection and has to be rebooted.

I used to use the built in brighthouse router/modems. If that's you, you definitely want to switch. I used to have issues with my internet every week. I've yet to see this thing fail.
