Store employee helped us find the best router for the best price for us. Our current router was fading fast. He showed us both routers, but this one has all the features we needed.

Although Netgear has increased the feature set. It still does not compare to almost all DD-wrt firmware's that you can load over the top. Excellent item though. Works as intended

We had too many devices and not enough band width creating lots of headaches and connection issues. This fixed our problem and have not had connection issues (or headaches) ever since!

Good AC router when it is not overheat. Requires better heat dissipation.

I use it for the whole house! Computer, TV and smart phones! Great quality and outstanding price! We are more than satisfied and have already recommended it to friends and family.

Its no night hawk x6 but it gets the job done. This works for homes that are 1 story. Signal strength not good in a 2 story home.

East Set up and Great Coverage; however is a little expensive for the beginner.

Bought this because there are way too many devices using the internet at home. I can see whos using the internet and control the router from my phone. Its pretty convenient!

Expensive but works good. I am hard pressed to really tell the difference in standard day to day operation over my 50$ unit this replaced that finally failed after 5 years. For most home users all of the features are mostly moot and will never be touched or configured. Offers a huge amount of features. I would rate 5 stars if it were cheaper.

This was an upgrade to replace my old router. Easy to install and link with the expander. Improved coverage. Several masonry walls within my home, so coverage is a challenge. No problems with heat as others noted. Online interface was very helpful, haven't used mobile app for control yet

This unit has very good range and will definitely work in a decent sized house. Saves you from excess data usage for sure.

With a 2,200 sq ft new townhouse, 2 floors, I expected this level of router to provide strong signals pretty much everywhere in the home. I had weak signal strength in the 2.4ghtz range and even weaker on the 5.0 ghtz. Tried changing channels, etc to no avail. Ended up buying an extender which give me good signal, but expected a lot more from this router.

I have my xbox one, two smartphones, one tablet and a smart TV streaming on my network all at the same time pretty consistently and have not had issues with this router under performing. I like how it breaks into two networks essentially by separating your 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz. My favorite feature however is managing the router and devices on the network through the linksys app I downloaded on my smartphone. Great product.

Easy setup for entire system. I was able to have my Wi-Fi network up and running within 15 minutes of the first cable being touched. Very important to have a secured connection and this offers the security I desired. Additionally, my wife works away from home frequently and needs to access files at home, the router allows for VPN setup and now she can access the files from any where as long as she has an internet connection.

The range and speed of this router are very good. Setup was very easy.

Great for supporting a lot of electronics. Large family with iPods, pads, kindles, printer, and desktop handling abilities.

I get fantastic range with this, i can go anywhere in my house amd i also get a great signal while outside my house.

This is a nice fast unit, I used it to replace the wireless router portion of my cable modem and I see a vast improvement in speed and throughput. The only problem I've encountered is in Parental Controls, when I attempt to set time limits on my grandson's devices it throws an error and refuses the update. I haven't had time to call support to attempt to remedy the issue. Even with this issue I would recommend it.
