This is my first smart router but I am very impressed by its capability to discern between the devices that are connecting to it. Prioritization is a bonus as is the app that can be used to check on network status while away from the house.

We have comcast high speed internet. The router allows to choose priority access to certain devices. It also has a guest wifi with its own individual password. It's worth every penny.

I'm a very serious gamer and this router is too!!!. Anyone looking to have multiple devices and stream/game, with ease of use from your mobile phone this is the router of choice.

Linksys setup website is pretty dumb and can be laid out better.. Once setup . This problem free and fast .. 10x better than Xfinity modem from Comcast .. Wifi speed tests of 45mb everywhere vs the best on Comcast modem was 10mb

I wanted to upgrade my old cable/router to a faster modem with capabilities to expand with future additions to my wireless system. This system works great.

Calling customer service for assistance with installation took several phone calls and three days. I kept getting transferred and cut off because the device is new and I needed assistance from the dreaded Level 2 Technician. I bought this device to take full advantage of my TWC RR service. The jury is still out on whether it was worth 200 bucks. When I finally got everything working right WIFI was downloading at 25 Mbs when it was lucky to reach 12 before. When the service fluctuates TWC blames the router and Linksys says it is TWC.

we live in a cinderblock home. needed the extra boost to get cable signal for Wi-Fi through the thick walls from one end of the house to the other since the Comcast signal is not strong enough. Works great now.

I haven't had good lick with this product. Seem to be fast and than disconnects.

Price point is a little high, but it works magnificently. I can now get a decent wifi signal in my whole house and not just in the room where my old router used to sit.

Replaced a netgear unit that was always dropping the signal so I took the net gear back and got the Linksys. Have not dropped a signal since it was installed a month ago. Good distance with unit as well.

We had to purchase a new router because our old one didn't have a strong enough signal to reach the devices in our living area. The new one we just purchased works wonderfully! Linksys never disappoints.

Sorry, I'm not a techy person when it comes to this sort of stuff. My husband mentioned which one to buy. I bought it, he installed it. All seems well.

I purchased this router to move from wireless 802.11N to 802.11AC on my home network, and the performance upgrade was definitely worth it. Download speeds are very impressive with AC-compatible devices (iPhone 6 and a desktop PC with a wireless AC adapter). Set up was easy and everything worked as advertised except for the printer after connecting it to one of the USB ports on the router, and downloading/installing the USB printer controller software. While the older HP2100 LaserJet printer connected to the router via the Belkin parallel-to-USB adapter worked just fine from my main desktop PC that is connected by Ethernet cable directly to the router, it has been very frustrating to get the printer to connect to and print from the wireless-enabled desktop PC. I've spent countless hours troubleshooting this problem mainly because the router firmware does not show the USB printer adapter in its Device List. This deficiency in the firmware led me to believe the router was causing the problem because it did not recognize the printer adapter, when it was actually a Norton firewall and Windows 7 problem ultimately solved by searching the internet for a solution. Chatting with Linksys tech support revealed the EA6900 router does have a problem recognizing attached hardware components from some manufacturers even though those devices are actually connected. The problem was solved by resetting the Norton firewall on both WIN7 Ultimate PCs in the network, and stopping and restarting the Windows printer spooler service on both computers. I recommend this router with five stars even though getting an older parallel/USB laser printer connected to a wireless client PC may be difficult. Hopefully this review will spare others from going through the same frustration.

NEVER buy Belkin. This router replaced my terrible Belkin, and I couldn't be happier.

Once setup, this works well. The trick was in the initial setup. Ended up having to contact Lynksys to manually configure the router to broadcast 2 different networks.

It's nice knowing that I can give my friends a password, but nobody has access to our personal info because we have our own personal password.

This is one awesome router. I caught it on a sale too. Which help me a lot being a $200 router. Love that I can have full control of when my kids could be online. It's a nice feature to have.

I had a router that did not cover the size of my home. Bought this router now I have great wifi reception throughout the house (4,800sq ft)

This router solved a WiFi problem that I was having as new nodes were added around the house. Now everything works smoothly together, on an "n" network, and I'm ready for an "ac" device.

We use the Linksys wireless for many functions(IE: wireless printing, 3 computers all networked, Tivo, back up drive & fax . It is a great wireless router and completely automatic, thank you
