    During the initial setup the installation was a breeze, but once the unit get hot it stops working altogether , 5ghz mode doesn't work at all, and at 2ghz mode depending on what streaming it may work depending on what I have hooked up. I even purchased a extender so that I can get coverage throughout which at best last for only a few hours..I need some suggestion on what I can do with this product because it cost me 213.00 please any suggestion

    Kept throttling down my internet speed and was having to reset it always, keep it at its defaults tweaking the router for me caused problems.

    The set up tried to force the online integration after the check box was selected to not use online integration. The USB port has issues with some external hard drives such as the older go flex desk models.

    Did not like this router at all. Difficult setting it up. The internet kept going on and off and when I returned it to the store the salesman said this is a common problem with this router.

    I must reboot the router about every other day to keep the wireless printer connected which sets only 12 feet away. I did not have this problem with the previous router.

      How long you've been having this challenge? What is the firmware version of the router? Is the same thing happening with other wireless devices? You may try adjusting the wireless channel of the router as it might have been caused by interference.     So, went into the local BestBuy and one of the associates recommended this router based on how I wanted to use it. Paid a lot, but based on the stated capabilities, how I wanted to use it...and prior experience with Linksys products, I purchased it. 1 week in and it started dropping wireless devices randomly. 2 weeks in, I called their tech support, they had me make some changes in the wireless settings and it started routinely dropping wireless devices. 3 weeks in, I called them back and they had me change more settings...then, everything crashed. Had my ISP come and replace the modem (Linksys said it must be the modem) and same problems started again. Called them back 3 days in a row, more changes...short term fix, next day fail every time. 4 weeks in, I decide to research on my own and discover that there are not alot of flowery comments regarding this device, all with the same problems. The only consistent connection I have had with this device has been wired. For the price I paid...should be self healing. Next time, more research before I buy, I would not recommend this device to anyone...

    Purchased for more wi-fi strength.

    Does not provide the wi-fi strength I had hoped for, and had even bumped up beyond what was recommended on the Cisco website. When watching movies through Netflix, they still occasionally buffer. I do not have any issues with laptop connections, or tablet, it just seems to be with movie streaming.

    Been a linksys user for quite some time with zero issues or complaints. Hope I got the one lemon they have made bc this one was garbage. Easy to setup and operate. Customize. Locked up and fell off the network every day multiple times for the few days I had it before returning it for the Netgear Nighthawk that was actually cheaper and works fantastically.

    I switched to Time Warner Cable and was unhappy with the combo modem/router Gateway TWC provided. The WIFI signal reach was too weak and my Internet connection continually dropped. I purchased a separate modem and the LINKSYS AC1900 router and am very pleased with the results. I am now getting excellent speed and range. I can pick up WIFI at a much further distance than before. I was also impressed with how incredibly EASY this router was to set up. It took about 5-10 minutes. And the Smart WIFI management tool is great. I can access (and edit or make changes to) everything related to my router on any computer or device. So far, I am very pleased with this router.

    Overall, the connection on this router is extremely poor with both 2 ghz and 5ghz. After only a few weeks of having this router, none of our devices connect to either of the bands, rendering our internet useless for all of our wireless devices. It is very inconvenient. I'm thoroughly disappointed.

      Thank you for the feedback. This is definitely not the performance that we expect you to experience with the Linksys EA6900. It is strange to hear that the router suddenly rejects wireless connection. To isolate this, we suggest you check the settings of your router. Make sure that the settings are the same, and that the Wireless MAC filter is disabled. Using a fixed channel can also help your devices to connect easily. You may have it on channel 1, 6, or 11.
