I have a large home (3,000 sq') and this router delivers excellent speeds and signals. At times, we have four different computers on simultaneously and have never been disconnected or had any issues. The signal strength is awesome both inside and outside the house.- that includes upstairs and down, and also outside in the backyard! You won't regret purchasing this!

I've had this router for about 5 weeks now. I would rate this an excellent router, it's very easy to set up and connect to. The speed is excellent. Switching over from an N300 router, my ping dropped about 10-15ms on the online game I play which IMO made it worth it. Also i used to get 4 bars connectivity in my office room, now I have 5 bars anywhere on my property. I have had to reset it once, which is the only complaint I've had but that might have been my other devices fault not the routers fault and hasn't happened since. I've tried to stress it streaming netflix, but I only have 6 devices that can stream to, and even with 6 streams going at once it didn't affect my network or ping at all. So if you have a large house or stream a lot, this could be a great router to pick up.

I did my research at Amazon and Bestbuy matched the low price on Amazon. The speeds are fantastic. I am getting up to 93.14 Mbps download speed and 22.27 upload speeds on the speed test on my wireless devices. . Also the router reaches all over our two story 3200 sq. ft home.

I had a older linksys cisco N band router that required me to reset it several time a week and I finally decided to buy a new one. I was look at the netgear units and when I went into the store I saw this one priced at $99.99. I didn't know anything about this router but an AC1900 router for $99 seemed like a sweet deal. It was a sweet deal, they had it priced wrong at the store and they were forced to sell me the normally $199 router for $99. I took it home and setup was super easy. I have never setup a router using a smartphone before. I would normally have to connect to the network 192.168.1.1 and enter an admin password to setup. Not with the App and I can block users and content from the app, its slick. The speed is great, no bottle necks, and wireless steaming is effortless.

This router is replacing my 5 year old router that i had. With buying new computers, tablets and other things in my home, I realized how important my router had become to my home business. I have noticed a dramatic improvement to the signal strength for my devices, and my speeds have increased as well. I am planning on getting a new computer that can use AC soon, so I can't wait to see what kind of speed I will get with it! I didn't like the $200 price tag, but I figured it will be worth it in the end!

Much better range and throughput than the Asus N66-R, especially in the 5 Ghz band, even without AC devices. Asus was fussy about LAN for some reason and this was not. Interface is simple and does what needs to be done. No power cycling in 2 weeks. I am running a cooling fan under it. All wireless routers run warm and this is no exception. Hoping to get more mileage from it if it stays cooler. A quiet case fan at medium RPMs makes it room temp to touch. No problems streaming to multiple devices. No lag in games. Plays well with Comcast Arris TG862 modem. I had them disable the included router. Had to call tech support to get them to do it from their end. Under the latest firmware (as of 21 August 2014) I found that when attempting to reserve IPs under DHCP Reservation I could not reserve an IP for any device with a space in the device name. Changing the name in the router to exclude spaces does not fix the issue. Didn't want to mess with changing device names on the devices. Who knows what an iPhone would do after that. I assigned IPs to everything I could and there hasn't been a problem so far. I simply prefer assigned IPs. Most people never bother unless they are addressing a specific conflict.

This router has been amazing. I decided to upgrade to this router from the cheap cable company provided wireless router. I have a small mother in law suite behind my house that could not receive any signal from the cheaper router. With this new router, I can stream Netflix with no issues. The signal has to travel thru three walls and about 100 feet. I really couldn't believe the signal strength could get anywhere close to that. I had the cable guy install the router when he came to pick up the cheap cable company router so a am assuming it was fairly easy to install. I have had no power resets or dropped signals. Super reliable!

I got this to replace a 2 year old net gear router that got fried by lightning. I have a relatively large, two story house. My office where the cable Internet comes in its on one end of the house, the screen porch whet I frequently surf on my tablet is on the other end. With my old router, no problem. With the new, constant drops, no connection, you are offline errors. With that said, inside the house, great speed, very reliable. However, for 10$ more, I swapped for a net gear Nighthawk and get a full strength anywhere in my yard. If you need long range, this is not the for you.

I have two level split large house (2500 Sqft). i located the router at the basement, one end. My laptop showing strong signal 99% everywhere in my house, upper or lower level. Signal is strong and stable. My laptops and droid devices never drop or frozen. 2.4 Ghs signal is very strong, thru out the house. 5 Ghz singal is strong at lower level (where I place the router). Upper lever sigal drop to 60%. However, I found out 5 Ghz is not able to go thru wall, long distance like 2.4 Ghz. Easy to install, nice access everywhere (need setup account). I have about 14 devices and they all connect reliably, never drop. After two months, it is still going good, no issue. Other feature such as guess network also nice to allow separation between you home network and guess access. Very happy with the router and service/tech support from Linksys.

I had to write a review because i cant believe how great this router is. Believe me when i say that because i went through 2 of the other competitors (netgear nighthawk, asus rt) and the range on those routers are horrible. Ive tested them all and hands down the linksys won. Even my old linksys e2000 had better range than the competitors. Dont get me wrong theyre all great routers but if you want range, ease of use, and no lags, this router is for you.

An internet techie[??] tried to help me connect to the internet and 'reset' the router defaults??? Took over 2 hrs on Linksys tech support to undo what the other tech messed up. Both ladies that helped me were fantastic!! Tech support was out of the Philippines and yes sometimes they were a bit difficult to understand ... but they really knew their product and how to fix it. I am very impressed with the product and the support system that LinkSys has in place. Well done !!!
