This thing covers basically my whole city block, I took my phone on a walk around the block and was able to pick up the 5ghz network almost all the way around it. The options are nice, It has all the basic stuff plus some more interesting and useful options like WMM, and media prioritization. Remember to DMZ your gaming system for the best connection possible.

This router although a bit pricey is a great performer. It helps us get the most out of our service. The external antennas are very helpful and definitely boosts are signal. The only issue we have had is when we updated to a higher mbps service with our ISP. We upgraded got the new modem and the router did not automatically adjust to the new settings. It capped us out at our old mbps. We had to do a factory reset to get it to recognize the new information. This would cause a problem for someone who is not familiar with networking. Overall we are very happy with this purchase.

This modem has a better signal than my Comcast modem and better range

My old Linksys router was old and needed to be replaced with a stronger one. I purchased the Linksys router because they have worked well in the past. The coverage is pretty good - our house is pretty large - it coverage is good downstairs and most of up stairs but I needed to add an extender for the far end of the house. The coverage outside is great.

Speeded up the Internet and much broader coverage very very nice

Product works as advertised. The only thing I had difficulty with is the configuration. My preference is to manually configure on the router itself without going online to a website to use their interface. It didn't like the fact that I was not connected to the internet but eventually I was able to get to the configuration menu. I enabled both the regular band and the 5 GHz signal. I don't understand why I even bothered with the 5 GHz band. The band works but the signal does not reach towards the back of my house. The regular band does okay but not the 5 GHz. Since some of the Microsoft and Apple wireless devices do not recognize the 5 GHz signal, my question is why even have it on the router? Is it really necessary to have 5 GHz where the band is not as strong as the regular signal? Is it a marketing gimmick that all routers must have this so we can charge more for a plastic radio? Other than that, the interface is intuitive, the router works well and I would recommend buying even if you don't use or enable the 5 GHz band.

Is easy to set up and covers the entire house from the basement.

I've not no lost signals since set up. it is fast and reliable.

I was considering getting a custom made 200ft ethernet cable made to reach my little man cave behind my house. Instead I researched and shopped around for a better router. Could not be happier with my purchase from the front of my house to the back is approximately 200ft and the new router makes that at full range. Definitely recommend it.

Very pleased with the product. Excellent coverage. Works where other router was a problem. Only wish is that the "public" WiFi could be protected by WEP, WPA or similar encryption instead of making access public and then requiring login via website. Just a bit of a nuisance.
