You can even attach an external USB drive to securely share. As always Linksys is the only way for me. You can't go wrong with this product.

Configure one in wireless bridge mode, the other as wireless repeater, I wanted everything to be on the same TCP/IP subnet, not to create another network in the other building. This works, my devices there operate the same as if they were here.

You have to go to "Linksys smart wifi.com." if you want to change any settings...I had to call tech support to find that out!? Otherwise a great improvement in wifi performance...I used to get "slow connection" and "lost connection" error messages all the time with the previous router...none now!

The internet performance has been excellent and I have configured and utilized multiple VPN client connections without issue. I highly recommend the Linksys AC1200 Smart WiFi router. If there is one weakness, I have noticed it has been slightly slower wifi speeds than I had previously, but since the majority of the network is wired with gigabit ethernet, it is a non-issue for me.

However, we would like to help you out in tweaking the router's settings to improve its wireless performance, in case you decide to use it. Experiencing weak wireless connection could be caused by interference in your area. We suggest you set a fixed channel for your wireless network. You may have it on channel 1, 6 or 11 for the 2.4 GHz network and channel 36, 40, 44 and 48 for the 5 GHz network. We can also upgrade/reflash the firmware of your device and have it reset and reconfigured as part of the advanced troubleshooting.
