BUT for me using the newest laptop tech (HP x360 envy on AC 5GHz) right when i started netflix the TV downstairs (on 2.4ghz 300mbps) started lagging so i returned and bought the next step up. overall amazing and you can flash this too ;)

Decent router

It has very strong signals for both 2.4 and 5G, but every once in awhile the data rate comes to a crawl. I can't even access the console of it through the web or the app. As soon as I turn it off with the switch, and back on, it begins working correctly again. Happens about once a week.

• Check if your computer experience the same thing when connected straight to the modem.
• Isolate the issue by using other browsers or computer.
