Bought this model to increase range, and to get the 5ghz channel. Tried for hours to get it to work, no luck. Could hook up my old router and everything worked fine. Called my internet provider, no luck. Sat on the phone for 1.5 hrs with Linksys tech support, no luck. Took it back to best buy and exchanged for same model, no luck. I finally gave up and bought a netgear and it worked just fine. Only thing tech support said is that maybe it's not compatible with my internet. I have Fiber optic, no modem. Just can't believe that a 2008 model Linksys router works well, but a 2016 model doesn't.
