We had a great sales assistant, and he seemed knowledgeable and said that it would work with our modem. However, it was frustrating to get it home and not be able to have it work with our other equipment. We returned the next morning and exchanged it for the Century Link combination modem and router and it worked beautifully. Thank goodness that Best Buy makes returns and exchanges so easy.

My cable modem router combo is on the other side of the house and goes thought 5 walls and has better signal.
